Ironwood Estates Atria Home Living offers a truly delightful dining experience. The delicious meals provided twice a day in the dining room are a real highlight. Not only is the food fantastic, but the atmosphere is warm and inviting. Residents and visitors alike are encouraged to socialize and make friends during mealtimes, fostering a sense of community that’s hard to find elsewhere.

One of my favorite parts of dining here is when they have live piano music playing. It adds such an elegant touch, making the entire experience feel like you’re dining on a luxurious cruise. The combination of great food, friendly faces, and lovely music makes every meal at Ironwood Estates truly special.

I've been teaching chair yoga at Ironwood since December 2023. After completing my chair yoga teacher training, I received a call the very next day asking if I could teach here, and it's been an absolute joy ever since. The residents are full of life, and it's incredibly rewarding to lead a group that genuinely appreciates the class. The staff are friendly and welcoming, making Ironwood feel like a close-knit community. Teaching yoga here has been such a fulfilling experience, and if I'm lucky enough to live in a place as fun and engaging as Ironwood one day, I’d consider myself truly blessed. I'm so grateful for the laughter, smiles, and connections I've made here. Recently, I also began working in companion care, which has been equally wonderful.

For Families looking for a wonderful new home for your parent(s) where they can have their meals prepared for them and be assured they are well taken care of, in case of any possible health issue, while continuing to live an independent, active life style, then Ironwood Estates in St. Albert is the right place for you and your parents.
My Mom used to live with us for many years and participated with all our family events, but with ourselves traveling more and our kids growing their own families, she often found herself alone with no one to talk to or our socialize with. After some research and a couple trial days at a couple retirement centers, Mom chose Ironwood Estates. Like all moves in life, it takes time to adjust, but with the staff and residents at Ironwood, our Mom has found a fabulous new home. She is no longer alone! It has been 2 years and she has made so many new fun friends with staff & fellow seniors. She has her quiet times knitting in her suite, but thoroughly enjoys participating in so many planned activities, organized by Leslie and the staff.
Mom only has to walk 80 feet from her suite to be surrounded with new friends all socializing together. They have entertainers that come in on a regular basis. The guests are encouraged to get up and dance or sing along to create a fun environment for everyone partaking. We really appreciate the love and care that has been given to my mom and other guests. We try and attend some of the events and the laughter that people are sharing is fabulous!
Thank you David, Eldon, Leslie, Anna, Brian, Janice, Gayle, the Kitchen Staff and everyone else who have created such a wonderful environment for our Mom. Ironwood Estates is such a welcoming community. I had the pleasure of being a vendor there for one of their events. The staff is friendly and the residents were awesome. It’s in a great location in St. Albert. Also, I follow their Facebook page ‘Atria Ironwood Estates’, their posts always makes me happy. The residents always have the opportunity to be involved in many fun activities and enjoy a variety of entertainment that bring them joy. I love to see the residents enjoying life. My mother in law has been a residence of Ironwood for almost 2 years now.
During that time she has thoroughly enjoyed the accommodations and amenities the home offers.
She has also commented on how friendly and caring the staff has been at all levels.
My wife and I have to agree with her as our interactions with staff has also been very pleasant and enjoyable.
At any time when we had questions or had a special request they were more than happy to help us out and see to our mothers needs.
All in all we’re quite pleased with the decision of having her reside at Ironwood Estates.
