I've had the wonderful pleasure of visiting Aspira Island View frequently over the past 3 years, and each visit makes me want to call it home someday. The atmosphere is always warm and welcoming and the staff truly go beyond for the residents. I've also had the great fortune to enjoy a delicious meal, along with the best french vanilla coffee in town!
What stands out the most are the meaningful and engaging activities offered plus the location along the Madawaska River! There's always something fun going on, tailored to meet the interests and needs of seniors. It's clear that Island View is dedicated to making life enjoyable for its residents. That said, I highly recommend Island View for anyone seeking a vibrant, caring place for their loved ones in the "age friendly" community of Arnprior!

My father has been a resident of Island View for a couple of years. Although it wasn't an easy time for him, the staff made him very welcome. His mind is at ease in terms of safety as the staff are very attentive and ensure he is at every meal. The food selection and quality have changed since he arrived; not always to his liking. But, he says he never leaves the dining area hungry. Staff will always find something to satisfy.
Overall, both he and I are happy with the staff and amenities at Island View.

Aspira Island View has been a blessing for me and my family. Knowing that my father is in a safe environment, where he is not alone and can socialize with others, has taken a weight off of me. The staff have been accommodating and have gone out of their way to help my father and make his transition to Island View easier. He has made new friends and has settled into a new routine. My father enjoys sitting by the water and socializing with staff and residents. Thank you to all the staff at Island View.

Management and staff have been more than helpful in accommodating my mother. The staff have been very pleasant and patient, while management have been sympathetic to the requests made by my mother. The facility is well run, clean, and provides ample activities, excursions, and events for the residents.

The decor is beautiful, the food delicious, the views spectacular and the staff welcoming! My parents live at Island View and as they put it, "Everyone is so nice!"
