The doctor spoke in short, rapid commands, frequently interrupting and not listening. He asked, "Where is your pharmacy?" When we replied "Costco," he abruptly ended the appointment, stating he had sent the antibiotics prescription there and that we should start taking it today. Three hours later, Costco's pharmacy had no record of the prescription, and the walk-in clinic was closed. Now, I'm in the hospital emergency room, with a longer wait time because Mews Walk-In Clinic failed to send the fax.

I’d give it a zero if I could. The wait times are not accurate. It said 40 minutes and we were there for over two hours, and when the doctor saw us (I took my disabled mother) he rushed the entire visit. She has COPD and the entire appointment took less than 15 seconds. I wish I was exaggerating, but he took her temperature and made like he listened to her lungs. Would have made it more convincing if he placed the stethoscope on her back and lungs. He was very dismissing and when she said she was going to get a second opinion, which we did, he asked her if she just wanted antibiotics. Turns out that she tested positive with West Nile antibodies. Do not recommend. If you can get into see your family doctor do that, or just go to an Appletree. Probably better service?

Came in close to the end of the day. Seen the doctor within an hour.
Dr. Alchalabi was fast and direct. He listened to what was wrong and offered solutions. I had been sick for weeks and I’m finally starting to feel better!

Amazing experience at this walk-in and pharmacy from start to finish, my mom was sick and we went there for the first time.. the receptionist was exceptional, very kind and polite and truly professional. The doctor was very knowledgeable.
What to say about the pharmacist Ahmed! Such a nice guy, he was supposed to finish his day at 8pm and he stayed with us after hours only to prepare our prescription , we also got a discount because my mom doesn't have any additional medical coverage . I would definitely recommend to all my freinds and family!

I went here today and was told the clinic is closed throughout this week. If they had empathy and simple regards for patients and future patient, someone in the establishment would have notified google of their temporary closure. Google (even Google map) is very quick at updating its search engine about closures because they know that people rely on this information. So the blame is on this clinic. Anyway, I would send the notification of temporary closure to Google. Utter disregard for people is what this clinic shows

worst walk in clinic, don't waste your time here, indian doctor here dont care about the patient. They don't even spend time to check on your real condition. They just want numbers of patient to collect money from OHIP.

Terrible office: neither my anaesthesiologist nor I can get a hold of the clinic to request essential info about my tests. The clinic simply doesn’t pick up the phone during their work hours and there is no way to leave a message for them. Terrible experience!

An update: had to drive from another city today to corner the clinic personnel. Verdict: kanata mews clinic has 0 respect towards patients or other doctors. I really wanted to leave a better review but the office administrator failed her job again.

Message to the patient: do not support this business. Clinics like that should not exist in our community.

Message to the business owner: rest assured this extreme negligence will be escalated with CPSO, Better Business Bureau and other appropriate organizations. I hope you realize that your behaviour puts at risk patient's health and even life.

Here are the details:
Today morning, I arrived, explained the administrator who I was and that my doctor and I had been waiting for them to send my allergy test results for over a month now so that I don't die from anaphylaxis during my medical intervention. However, that lady instead of apologizing and getting her job done in a prompt manner asked me to wait in line to officially see some doctor at their clinic!..What a nerve!!! I guess to simply charge the government for an unnecessary visit instead of simply doing her job. Excuse me, I have waited over a month and at the end had to invest my time and gas to drive to their clinic as they don't pick up the phone nor answer faxes. I refused to wait and the doctor took me right away.

It is worth mentioning that the administrator lady did not make any attempt to find one of the multiple faxes that the anaesthesiologist had sent to the office. Instead, she asked me to call my anaesthesiologist and ask him to re-send the fax again. So kanata mews clinic does not pick up their phone but they expect others to answer phone calls. Explain me why?!

The only adequate person I saw at the clinic was actually the doctor who was smart enough not to count on the incompetent administrator (probably, he was well familiar with the quality her work) and gave me a hard copy of the test results. He also apologized for the terrible experience I had with their clinic. The doctor asked me to sign a consent to share my personal information and said that was why they did not respond to the faxes. Why did not you communicate this back to the anaesthesiologist?!? You should have some respect to your colleague and the patient and at least communicate your requirement!

After talking to the doctor, I gave the anaesthesiologist's fax number to the administrator lady as instructed by the kanata mews clinic doctor, so that she could send the fax right away. She failed again as the anaesthesiologist's office called me later that day and said that they still had no fax.

When leaving kanata mews clinic, I told the administrator lady that they don't pick up the phone and that they should thank the pharmacy (they share the space) for doing her job as I called them earlier that morning to confirm the clinic was opened before driving from another city. She looked into my eyes and lied with no remorse about their "call policy". She said that kanata mews clinic does not pick up the phone for anyone and that the patient is supposed to call the pharmacy to ask about the clinic business. She made this up because an automatic message from the pharmacy asks to call the clinic directly. She also tried to accuse my anasthesiologist of using a wrong fax number and that is why she did not receive any faxes. So were there faxes but you silently wanted my consent or there were no faxes?! Make your mind. She gave me the fax number so that I ask my anaesthesiologist to re-send the fax to that number..The anaesthesiologist did re-send the fax again, but kanata mews clinic did not send any test results to him, as I mentioned before. I know this because the anaesthesiologist followed up with me today afternoon. Shame on you kanata mews clinic.
