Do not come here to have your baby, or anything for that matter! Emergency is a load of crap! They need better doctors in this place, when they mean it's a 10-20% possibility of hitting a nerve, they mean 70-80%. I would suggest Thunder Bay. I bet recovery is so much easier and faster in Thunder Bay. Yes this place works for what it is, but you'll come out with lifelong problems.

Been sitting here for 2 hours watching people that came after me already gone Feeling neglected Just asked them for help and they said when they get there . Well nurses aren't what they used to be

I’m from Thunder Bay and had hip replacement surgery here in La Verendrye Hospital in Fort Frances on May 3,2023 From the first Good Morning to the last Take care, call us if you need anything!’ I was so well looked after, everything was well explained, every request was met!! Kudos to the ladies in on the OR, Surgical Day Care, Physio and, of course, Dr Droll. I would not hesitate to come here for surgery and will highly recommend to anyone else!! Thank You ?

Terribly long waits (5 to 6 hours for a waiting room with 2 people)... staff are hit or miss also told them I have sepsis I think today...and I'm about to leave as it's been 4.5 hours.... and they have me waiting like I have a common cold.... another time I was also told I didn't have a hernia when that's EXACTLY what it is..... terrible neglect towards health here....and lawsuits are real

The neglect of Dr Keffer and the Staff within the ICU results in the continously injury, illness and death of patients over and over. Since 2021, I've heard of 8 different deaths related to the neglect from LVH. BE CAREFUL WITH YOUR HEALTH IN THEIR HANDS.

Only one in the waiting room since 3am and its 7:40am and still havent been seen. Better off driving to tbay to get looked at. Friggen hate this place. I'd rate it 0/5 if I could but 1/5 is the closes to it
