Does the music really have to be that loud? This is a medical clinic, not a bar. I understand the need for calming music that helps make waiting for an appointment more pleasant, but not music so loud that it drowns out even my own thoughts.

3 stars (there should be a separate rating for the music) because the lady at the front desk was kind, and Dr. Ubabukoh is my favorite doctor. His integrity and approach to patient care are truly admirable

This clinic is ridiculous. Music is insanely loud not welcome of anyone on the autism spectrum. The claim it’s for privacy really it’s they are too cheap to fix the waiting room. Dr was over 1.5 hour late because he showed up late to work. 10/10 do not recommend. Get care elsewhere. Terrible experience

Dr diagnosed my daughter with a severe sinus infection (Friday 2pm) but failed to fax the prescription. Daughter had fever of 40 by Sunday and forced me to seek medical care somewhere else to obtained the promised prescription to treat her infection.

Worst clinic ever. About a few months ago I was borderline spam calling this office because I couldn’t get anybody on the phone for over a week and dr had a family emergency and never rescheduled my appointment. I had to renew everything with the pharmacy- I have had prescriptions renewed and never actually sent over the pharmacy has sent over a fax to get them renewed multiple times also. The office lady’s are always hostile and rude on the phone every single time. My current issue is they decided to call me at 4:25 when they closed at 4:30 to tell me that I have an issue with my health card ( my appointment was at 10:40 the next day ) on this phone call she mentioned something about parents said my health card expired and that if I didn’t renew my health card I have to pay out of pocket for my appointment. (Health cards don’t expire you have to update your information and im not paying for a dr appointment that’s FREE and what is she even talking about parents? I’ve only been here for a year and why are you even referencing them in anything im old?

So I call back this morning and the girl is a total jerk on the phone. Acts like this is my fault. Couldn’t get the Alberta health on the phone kept hanging up on me and I call and she says I don’t even have an appointment today? And I have a call back and body told me this And so why did I get called last night? And then said my doctor isn’t who my doctor is like lady That’s not even my doctor? I’m canceling my appointment and have nothing good to say about this place DO NOT GO HERE

Doctor Mahdavi is amazing ! She’s so good at what she does, she’s caring and kind and an expert in obstetrics. She performed my second c section I was terrified but she assured me all would be good and she was right! I recommend her to all and if she leaves Cold lake she will be greatly missed. The entire clinic staff is friendly as well!

Absolutely horrible. Can't even get an appointment for months. Completely and utterly useless. Might as well have no family doctor and the reception isn't even apologetic for their failings. Should be 0 stars.

I just called & booked a drivers medical as I'm turning 75 soon. I was told the cost would be $150 cash only. I called Bonnyville & was told the cost would be $75. Why is the cost of a drivers medical in Cold Lake double that of Bonnyville a half hour away. I guess I never should have posted this. Bonnyville now charges about the same as Cold Lake.

Went in with a viral infection and wanted to find out the results of the test. Dr said there were two different infections and recommended he write me a doctor's note for a full week off work. I hesitantly agreed after he reassured me that it would be a) a small fee, around 20$ if I recall him correctly, and b) payable at any time, since I told him I had no money on me. I get to the receptionist desk to check out, and they tell me both things the doctor said are false. The fee is 80$ and it must be paid then and there, they would hold it until I payed 80$ cash (no other forms accepted). I decline and leave because I did not have cash on me as stated before, and I did not feel I was sick enough for a whole week.
This continued a couple weeks later where they call to inform me that I still have an outstanding balance of 80$! And according to then it MUST be payed! For a doctor's note that was given under false pretenses and I never recieved! I do not plan on paying this; Nor should anyone.
Beware this clinic, it would seem they are only interested in siphoning money from the general population instead of actually trying to contain viral infections, their intended purpose. Go to another clinic or Bonnyville clinic instead.
