Amazing service, I went in right before they closed, I was expecting grumpy employees, but they were amazing. Helped me find what I needed, and had genuine care for my project. They even directed me to competitor companies for products they weren't stalked with. A+ for me. Very few stores deserve an A+ but they sure do, as far as service goes.

Fantastic customer service, staff all really appear to enjoy what they do, not just showing up for a paycheck. Everyone is helpful and knowledgeable, and make you feel like a valued customer.
I drive 3 hours (round trip) past some home improvement stores to deal with them.

Literally save me thousands of dollars today. We had tried twice at other paint retailers to get a colour match and failed twice. Janzens was our last chance. We had already conceded we were going to have to get the whole interior of our 1 1/2 storey house repainted.
Janzens, Steinbach mixed us some paint, we were not very confident due to the previous experiences.
IT WORKED. We are so happy with the results.

So called about a month ago about an item was told he was out on break and would call me back. He did NOT I then call back next day and get to speak to someone he puts me on hold for 10 minutes then it hangs up I call back and I'm told hes not available.

Now a few weeks later I call in and the person who they say I need to speak with just stepped out and of course again no call back.
Just very poor service here. I guess when a few coworkers said going in store here was not a good choice they were not lieing because calling in the service is below the bottom of barrel unfortunately.

Darryl and his staff are amazing! knowledgeable, friendly and very accommodating. This store is a hidden gem full of amazing "never thought you carried " products from Games Workshop Warhammer to safety PPE. Janzen's also has a great selection of artist products at a way lower price than Michael's. And if they don't have it Darryl is amazing , he'll get it for you
My go-to for games, puzzles, remote cars/planes, artist supplies, paint and advice.

This place is awesome! They have everything you could possibly need for your painting projects and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this store.
