I had a great experience with Allie, the nurse practitioner at Level Up Wellness Group. She was very thorough, asked a lot of questions, and really took the time to understand my concerns. I appreciated how she provided lots of recommendations for both medication and supplements, explaining everything in detail. I came in to see the nurse practitioner Allie because I felt like my doctor wasn't listening to my concerns. Allie took everything I said seriously and I felt like she really listened and cared about making sure I felt better. She gave me tons of recommendations and explained the differences in treatment options. She is extremely knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable about issues that are embarrassing to talk about. We were looking for an alternative to taking our son, who Autistic, to a child psychiatrist as the wait times are quite long. We had concerns that our son may have ADD/ADHD as well as being Autistic. I learned through researching alternatives that a nurse practitioner can prescribe medications just like a child psychiatrist. So after more digging and researching I found a nurse practitioner that has experience with children with Autism and children with ADD/ADHD at Level Up Wellness Group.

So I booked an appointment with Allie Kusnierczyk. Our family was excited to meet Allie and see what she would recommend for our son. Our appointment with Allie was excellent! She was kind and caring and very understanding. She listened to our concerns and feelings about our son. We mentioned that he was on supplements and Allie recommended some supplements we had never heard of before that may help with attention issues and impulsiveness. She suggested that since we are already trying supplements maybe trying a few others will help before we need to go the medication route. It was so refreshing and nice to see natural supplements recommended before going full on with meds! The fact that Allie was willing to offer up alternatives to meds was very comforting. We have started our son on the supplements to see what may come of them. They may not work as well as well we hope. Some people may not respond as well as others. It can't hurt to try! If we need to go the medication route, I fully trust Allie to do what is best for our son! We have a follow up appointment in a month to see how the supplements are working. We know that helping our son will be a journey of ups and downs and of trial and errors to see what best works for his Autism and possible ADD/ADHD. We are very happy that we have Allie to be a part of our son's journey!

I started going to Level Up just over a year ago in October 2023. In my time there I have been seeing Dr. Melody Morin and their Nurse Practitioner, Allie Kusnierczyk.

My experience with Dr. Morin has been nothing short of amazing. I can confidently say, Dr. Morin had a large role in saving my life. I developed severe OCD in may 2023 due to some significant life changes. I hopped from therapist to therapist and even attended a program at the U of A for 4 hours per day, 4 days per week for 2 months. My symptoms continued to worsen and started to jeopardize my close relationships and career. I started reading self help books and came across a book about OCD. It hit home. I reached out to several OCD specialists and Dr. Morin stood out. When I started seeing Dr. Morin, I was in a very dark place and time in my life. I was extremely scared and confused and didn't know what was happening to me. I was suicidal. Through months of therapy, Dr. Morin evaluated me, taught me about OCD and ADHD, helped me understand my specific OCD subsets and ADHD type and gave me the skills I needed to cope with them. From the first session I had with her, I felt like she could see exactly what was happening in my mind. It was the first time in 6 months that I had seen a glimmer of hope. I honestly did not think I would make it out of my dark days/times and I don't think I would have without Dr. Morins help. She is very personable, comforting, caring, and extremely knowledgeable, especially in relation to OCD, ADHD, depression, anxiety, drugs, and relationships. I have spent enough time with Dr. Morin over the last year that I can tell anyone reading this that she is passionate about the work she does and truly cares about her patients. I don't even really have the words to describe how grateful my family and I are for what Dr. Morin has done for me. I can't thank you enough Dr. Melody Morin.

My experience with Allie Kusnierczyk has been amazing as well. I had been seeing a psychiatrist since May 2023 to try and determine what was happening to me alongside the therapy I was seeking out. The psychiatrist did help in my dark days, but as my therapy with Dr. Morin progressed, I hit a wall with my psych and my medication needs were no longer being met or optimized. Dr. Morin had informed me of their in-house Nurse Practitioner when I first started seeing her. When I hit a wall with my psych and medications, I decided to see if Allie could fill the gaps I was missing with my psych. Allie was phenomenal. She is very personable, friendly, and knowledgeable. I informed her of what I was going through and what help I was looking for. Her knowledge of the medications I was taking was far superior to anything I heard before. I had my blood tested to determine if I was deficient in any vitamins/minerals and if there was anything else going on that was health related. Several results came back that were never highlighted with my psych or family doctor. She made recommendations with the medications I was on, what could be changed, and how my diet could have been affecting my results. Allie provided me with an alternate diet, a source for the vitamins I was deficient in and follow up tests for the irregularities in my blood work. I was so impressed with Allie and her medication and food related knowledge that I recommended her to my mother who is also now seeing her. Allie filled all the gaps that were missing with both my psych and family doctor. My mother and I are both extremely impressed with Allie and her knowledge.

Dr. Morin and Allie have both been a breathe of fresh air in my experience with the medical system. They both go above and beyond, are passionate about the work they do, and it is evident they truly care about the people they work with.

I am incredibly disappointed with the administrative staff. My partner has been utilizing the services since September and nothing but wonderful things to say about her therapist. However, yesterday she started getting sick with a cold and by noon today spiked a high fever and is bed ridden with the flu/sinus infection. She called to move or reschedule her appointment and the person she spoke to told her that since it was past the 48 hour cancelation period, she either had to attend in person or virtual, as either way she is still going to be charged the full amount. I understand the need for a cancelation policy and it's importance, however no one can control if, when or how severely they get sick. She called as soon as she could with over 24 hours' notice before her session. Giving more then enough time for her slot to be utilized by someone else. This is incredibly disappointing and honestly a reflection of money being prioritized over the health and safety of my partner, her therapist, and the public.
