I always try to support local but here the
framing lumber is horrible. I have bought 2x4, 2x6, 2x8 and all should be maybe pallet material. Says #2 or better but with all the bark and raw edge on them I think more like utility grade! Depending on who is working up front I find that person not a people person (older lady). If you are going to work with the public maybe try being a bit more courteous and trusting. The yard staff on the other hand are awesome to deal with. For me, I will drive to Warman or Saskatoon for my lumber.

Excellent selection, knowledgeable staff. The store is a bit of a maze made up of 3 rooms and each area is not clearly marked but the staff is very quick to direct you in the right direction. Business hours are more limited than chain hardware stores but the price, selection and service make it my first choice for building supplies.

If you've never been here before, you will think this review is a bit odd. This business has the best selection of imported dutch products. Yes, dutch products! Everything from the salted licorice to Stophoest to King mints to Stroopwafel! THANK YOU for importing these goodies for the dutchies in the community. I drive to Martensville solely to purchase the items my Oma used to bring back from Holland ☺
