Medika North was extremely helpful and accommodating to get our guys in for their A&D testing as well as their APR Fit Testing. Their office is very clean and professional. They have a very convenient location and our guys had there testing done quickly. There was zero wait time and the results were provided confidentially. I attended the Medika Facility in Ft. McMurray for a Pre-Access Drug & Alcohol test as well as an Audio metric test. The facility was very clean and professional looking and the receptionist was quick to help me get checked in respecting my privacy while doing it. I sat for about a minute when the testing associate came to introduce herself and explain the protocol to follow for each test. With both Audio and D&A I was complete in about 18 minutes of my arrival which was important as I had a course to make the same day. On my way out, Robyn the owner stopped by, shook my hand and asked about how my experience was! This has never happened to me in 10 years of taking these tests; These facilities are usually an impersonal cattle through the gates type feel, but here it was apparent that they cared about the service I received. Robyn took the time to show me the physical rehabilitation and return to work facility for people who are injured on the job. They have even have set-up a replicated access of a heavy hauler to provide field specific training for operators to be able to get back to work. With out a doubt the most personable, professional and innovative clinic of this type that I've ever seen. If you're ever in Ft. McMurray needing occupational health services this is without a doubt the place to go!
