Customer service is a JOKE! Terrible!

When first reaching out my emails/phone calls took over a week to get a response.

Day before my wedding the delivery truck drove into the yard/on grass without talking to me, it had rained the day before, the truck got stuck. After spinning tires and makings ruts, holes and tire tracks directly in front of the tent, they called for another truck to come pull them out. The drivers left saying “sorry” and that’s it. It’s now 2 weeks later and I havnt received so much as acknowledgment to my multiple emails asking for compensation for the time, money and extra work put into fixing the problem THE DAY BEFORW MY WEDDING! After requesting any kind of competition and getting no response, I sent a bill for $440 for the mulch I picked up to make a path covering the marks. This request also when unanswered, until I I wrote a negative google review. And the response I got was “you signed a contract that states we are not responsible for yard damage”. If you didn’t want a negative review you should have picked up the phone and called me before I was mad enough to get to this point instead of ignoring all my emails.

Not one employee who arrived at set up and take down said so much as hello let alone being personable in the least.

Did I get the tent I rented yes. But that’s the closest thing to anything nice I can say. Customer service is my problem, there is none.

Muskoka Event Services is simply the best tent and party rental place around. We have used them for years and they always come promptly to set up and take down the tents. Staff is super nice and professional , and the owners are some of the best people I know! If you’re looking for tent, tables or stage for your next party … look no further ! They are amazing. Be sure to book in advance , because they are so amazing they book up quickly!!!

The only good thing I can share is that everything showed up on time. Other than that, everything came very dirty, the tent had some holes in it, the dance floor was dirty and scratched up, paid $200 for string lights and multiple were either damaged or burnt out. Customer service was non existent. We were constantly chasing for an email back or phone call. We asked them if they could put the tables under the tent and they refused to do so although we paid for that service. I brought all my concerns up and they said they would review and get back to me and never did.

We used Muskoka Event Services for our cottage wedding in July 2022. We rented a gorgeous 20x75 foot tent and all our tables/chairs and dinnerware from them. Devin and his team were extremely communicative throughout the entire planning process which was very much appreciated. He came promptly for a site visit when other vendors declined and reassured us that our vision would be feasible, even in a challenging place. His set up crew was quick and efficient and the quality of our rented products were excellent. They accommodated our requested set up and take down day despite juggling other events. We were so happy with the services and couldn't reccommend Muskoka Event Services more for any event!

Tents, lights, chairs, tables, arch and extra latrines for a summer cottage wedding all came from here and it was a dream! The lights were attached to the tents before setup which was unexpected but much appreciated! That for sure saved us hours of set up.

Devin really helped us out when another vendor was suddenly unable to provide the rent and rentals we needed for our 25 person backyard wedding! The process of booking with MES was smooth every step of the way and Devin was very responsive with any questions I had. Delivery guys were friendly, efficient and made sure we were totally happy with everything before leaving. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend!

We received the most professional and expertly executed wedding rentals from Muskoka Event Services. They went far above and beyond expectations for a party supply company. They gave fantastic customer support and were so helpful and supportive even when asked to carry out something very last minute. Their superior customer service was greatly appreciated while we were planning a last minute wedding. We will definitely use them for future events!
