Met some wonderful medics I believe 5110.
I was home alone but didn't want to call. Felt rough after an injury and they realized something more was happening than the injury they treated me before transport and I was feeling much better by the time we got to the hospital. Thank you ladies and remember to take care of your selves.

I had called telehealth first to get advice on my 85 year old mother who had just been released from the Huntsville Hospital the same day, the telehealth Nurse advised that Mom should return to the hospital and asked if I wanted her to call 911 I said yes. The ambulance arrived Bus 5147 at around 630pm maybe a bit earlier. As soon as the female Paramedic got out of the ambulance she had an attitude right away, I explained again what was happening and that I was advised by Telehealth to have Mom return to Hospital and that Telehealth called 911 on my behalf, Telehealth did not at any time say "well you best take you mom to an emergency room in your area to have her assessed" Telehealth called 911 they felt she needed to be transported by ambulance. The female attendant paramedic made me feel like I was wasting her time and she berated me in such a manner that I felt that maybe they shouldn't be here but again I went on the advise of Telehealth. She the female Paramedic was also very belligerent in her communication to us about how someone better be right behind them as Mom would more than likely be put in the waiting room to wait her turn, this stunned me as She had just been released from Hospital and is now returning on the advice of a N.P. and now the neighboring Hospital is going to put her in the waiting room when she arrives by ambulance and not have her placed in the ER department right away, (and this did happen) unbelievable treatment of an elderly person having a psychotic break.

I have never felt so small in my life, this paramedic was rude, condescending and I should never had been made to feel the way she made me feel, I will be lodging a formal complaint against her so in the future no other person will have to feel what I felt when all I wanted was my elderly mother to be taken care of.

I want to make it clear that her partner the other paramedic was wonderful, he was compassionate and did not once make me feel like I was wasting his time. This all occurred on June 1, 2022 at around 630 pm.
