Dr. Genia was an absolute pleasure to work with, providing excellent one-on-one customer service. I took my mother to Ottawa Hears based on Dr. Genia’s reputation for gentleness and kindness. The reputation is well earned - and based on what I have experienced - I believe that those qualities stem from a genuine desire to help people hear again and prevent cognitive decline in an aging generation. Highly recommend.

I requested an appointment three times over an 8-week period, by both online form and email. I never received even an acknowledgement of my request. Why bother inviting requests if you don't even acknowledge them?
Update: I was able to make an appointment. Genia did a thorough job of cleaning out wax, which I appreciate. There seemed to be a lot of paperwork to sign, but I guess that is normal nowadays! Thank you.

I truly appreciated the professional advice and service provided by audiologist Genia Kanne-Schmigol. She suggested ed a simple enhancement to my existing hearing aids, and was able to receive and install the upgrade in time for our vacation. What a bonus, to hear better than I have in years on a vacation we've been looking forward to for months! I highly recommend this clinic.

Swimming ear plugs were purchased from Ottawa Hears! They are wonderful. They allow you to hear while your ears are plugged to prevent water in your ears. Thanks! I can now hear the coach with ear plugs in!

Another great visit with audiologist Genia. I emailed with an issue with my retention wires. Got a reply within minutes and an appointment for later that day. She straightened me out and sent me on my way. Excellent service highly recommended !

I love my hearing aids, now I can hear my grandchildren properly:) My wife loves not having to speak loudly all the time, and the tv is much quieter now! Genia (dr of audiology) at Ottawa Hears was very informative and made getting hearing aids easy for me. I’d researched prices at other hearing centers and prices at Ottawa Hears were by far the best! I highly recommend Ottawa Hears.
