My husband’s uncle and my father spent a good three years each at Parklane Terrace. We have only great things to say about their experience there. The staff is wonderful, caring and kind. Their private rooms, hallways and community gathering areas were always clean and fresh. Having an in house doctor made life so much easier for everyone, and Dr Henley was always available to inform us about our loved ones needs. My dad loved the food and staff, and our uncle really enjoyed the musical entertainment. Parklane Terrace became their home and our family enjoyed visiting them there.

I just want to say how incredibly impressed and grateful I am that my Dad was able to enjoy the Parklane Terrace experience for the final few years of his 92 year old life. Every visit we had with him left us with the assurance that Dad couldn’t be better cared for in a better place by such wonderful staff. What a clean and bright facility! Apparently the food was great as well. Thank you one and all for all the grace and compassion you showed to us all through a very difficult time.

My father was lovingly cared for at Park Lane Terrace over the past two years. The building is clean and bright, the staff were always attentive to his personal and medical needs, kept his surroundings clean and tidy and provided satisfying meals. Our family is most grateful to all the staff who cared for him. 5 stars!

Our now 99 year old mother moved into Park Lane Terrace February 2020 just before COVID. We are so thankful for the timing. We can't imagine what her life would have been like if she had spent the last year alone in her apartment. The administration and staff have done a wonderful job keeping everyone healthy during this trying time.

She has never been happier. The food is great, and the kitchen stuff are always so kind about tweaking things to suit the residents. Her room is big and airy, lots of room to display all the mementos of family and her Blue Jay fanaticism. Luckily there are some staff members who share the same interest and they love discussing the games. We can't say enough about her caregivers and their level of care. She looks at them as family and that is how they treat her- kind words, loving touches and lots of humour. The physiotherapist and his staff have done a wonderful job helping and encouraging Mom to walk again- something she couldn't do when she arrived. Every person she has contact with, whether they're coming in to clean, or put laundry away always greets Mom with a smile and a kind word.

Mom feels very safe at Park Lane. When she had to go to the hospital for a short time all she wanted to do was to get back "home." This is now home to her. We can't ask for more than that.

I have been so thankful for the service and devotion given to my parent in Parklane. The staff have made an uncertain Covid environment one of peace and friendship. They encourage his heart by embracing his Christian faith and call him friend. He never lacks for attention whether it be medical, a haircut or kind words.
Thank you for your excellent work...my dad speaks very well of you.

As a POA looking after my friend (sister-in-law) for several years, I want to thank Park Lane Terrace, for their wonderful care and kindness. You are truly all wonderful and my friend is so much happier and content in this environment. Her room is bright and sunny and always tidy. It is a pleasure to visit. Thanks so much to everyone who works on the 2nd floor, and in general, just a pleasure to deal with all of your staff.

There are no words to describe the loving care my father experienced in the 3 years he spent at Parklane Terrace. You went above and beyond in caring for him and as a family we so appreciated each and every one of you who reached out and did your best to make Grandriver a gentle home for my Dad. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, you are all top notch nurses!

My father in law moved into Park Lane Terrace a year ago. I am not sure why the rating is so low but I have been impressed with the staff (Blessing & Luke) and the cleanliness and friendliness. Well done Parklane. A model to be adopted in all long term care facilities.
