I couldn't be more pleased with the treatment I received for a minor procedure. Doctor and nurses were wonderful, kind, compassionate and had a sense of humour. They did everything in their power to make me comfortable and at ease. Such a difference from the way you are treated in larger centres where they make you feel like you are bothering them by just being there. Thank you for making a not so pleasant procedure a great experience.

Stacey in records at the Perth Hospital went over and above in assisting me to resolve an issue. She was extremely helpful and pleasant. Perth hospital should consider itself lucky to have Stacey as an employee

Great service by all the nurses and doctors. They explained everything carefully and took extra time to observe to make sure everything was fine. Shout out to the reception for taking care of us quickly.

The hospital is quite efficient, considering they are understaffed.

I hope people realize this and exercise some respect while waiting.

I spent about 3.5 hours and had multiple tests, and it appeared they were doing as much as they can with what they had.

ICU Allstars - Nurses in the ICU were knowledgeable and had huge hearts. Encouraging me to get out of bed and mobile as part of my recovery. Without them, my recovery wouldn't have been as swift.

Arrived at Perth hospital emerg around 9pm. Only 3 people in waiting room. My daughter was crying in pain. We watched one family leave without even being seen, and 2 people be called back and then leave within minutes. Took 4 hours to be called in… we were the last people on the waiting room. There was no visible method of triaging. When we went into the back there were no patients anywhere that we could see, but there were 6-7 staff standing around joking. When the dr finally came in she refused to treat the pain, didn’t even ASK how much pain my child was in, said “I’m not comfortable giving more than Tylenol” even though she was crying due to the intense pain; and then patted her leg and said condescendingly “awww, I know it hurts, maybe go home and have a bath’ and gave a script for antibiotics (which she openly admitted would do nothing). Then she walked out of the room. When trying to leave the back area we couldn’t even find our way out and the staff all stood in a group while we wandered around in confusion looking for the exit without even acknowledging us. It was honestly the most dismissive, unprofessional experience I have ever had in a hospital.

Unbelievable service! My dad was levelling a 480 square foot shed, and took the full weight of it via farmer jack to the jaw, and had a laceration very close to his jugular. They had him in to see a doctor before I had time to park the truck. Transferred him via ambulance to another hospital for a CT scan, and had us out in 3 hours. Everyone from reception, to nurses, to doctors went out of their way to keep my mom and myself informed the whole time. The doctor had incredible bedside manner! Even when giving potentially grim news, he delivered it with empathy and understanding. I have never experienced that level of compassion and communication at any healthcare facility, ever. Even the paramedics took the time to let us know that my dad was the patient behind them, and gave us their prediction on the timeframe of his return. A giant thank you from myself and my family for the amazing job the entire emergency team at Perth Hospital did! Keep up the amazing work you’re doing!
