Walk in and you will instantly be greeted with a smile and feel so welcome. Our whole family go here for our check ups, glasses, eye drops. My son was seeing an ophthalmologist at the Stollery but thanks to the great care here, we can do all our follow up in town again. I love how easy they make it to pick out the perfect pair of glasses that actually look good. I give them my budget and they help keep me in it...lol! My son likes to regularly wreck his glasses and they have been so helpful fixing them out replacing them when they can't be fixed. Can you order glasses online cheaper...yes but they will never be the same quality and you will never get the same level of service/fitting. We are so lucky to have this gem in our town

Always a great experience with the Prairie Vision team. The optometrists are very knowledgeable and explain things very well, and the rest of the staff is so helpful and clear with every step of the process. They have a great selection of frames and the staff is so helpful with choosing them especially when you’re indecisive like me!

Extremely distressing appointment.
I was quoted $40 for an exam, and was charged $160. I had said I had never really dealt with any optometry issues before, and at no point was I told the appointment had changed from a basic one. How was I to know?

The optometrist was extremely rude, making unnecessary judgemental comments. He made me very uncomfortable and I told him so, and then felt guilty for speaking up.

I was then sold very expensive glasses, and the reciept was emailed to me - it was surprising to find the terms of the sale were non returnable, which was not explained to me.

I called and left a message to try and cancel the sale, which did happen. However, while the salesperson apologized, I never had the negative comments from the Optometrist addressed.

When I went in for my refund, I also never received a refund on the excess $120 over what I was charged for the exam.

Overall, it was a very stressful situation that could have been avoided by respectful, honest communication.

I brought my little guy, who's just over a year old, to Dr. Jones-Greenwood, and she was quick and amazing at keeping his attention and being patient with him when he was getting a little fussy.

I took my elderly mother for an appointment-as a new patient. From the moment we walked in we were welcomed and felt at ease. The staff and Dr were friendly, professional and thorough; from the pretest, eye exam and purchase of new eyewear. We have picked up the new glasses and they are great. A positive experience from day one.

Just had an eye appointment today and I had to bring my 3 month old son because I had no one to look after him and was really nervous about it. But the staff was amazing and looked after him while I was in for my exam. All the staff were so nice and helpful! The exterior and interior of the building also look great after their remodel! 😊
