I had long term problems with my saw bogging out at low end, I could never figure it out on my own even though I wanted to to save the money. I went in with a bad attitude and a chip on my shoulder because of this, but within a day, the staff managed to fix it. When I offered an honest pay for honest work, I was told it was free of charge. I am forever grateful for this kind and wonderful team. Always a pleasure coming into rental village carleton place

Great locally owned business. Friendly knowledgeable service and sales. Great place to rent equipment for a project or to purchase good quality tools. Rental equipment is modern and well maintained and the Stihl line of tools is arguably one of two most recognized and most respected brands. I appreciate how Rental Village maintains a good inventory of parts, spares, and accessories as well. Overall we are lucky to have them in our community and its great to have an option other than the big box stores.

Our second time going into this place after a bad first experience and unfortunately had the same experience. My husband rented a grinder for 4 hours, tried to use it and it wasn’t working properly so we brought it back an hour and a half later. We told the staff member at the front that it wasn’t working properly and he said NOTHING. All he did was turn around and type something in the computer and then said have a nice day. Beyond rude and the customer service here is terrible. Will not be returning.

This is a (poor) handy man's dream! No need to buy expensive tools that you only use once a year (or once ever!). They have some pretty cool yard tools and they are in great working order. We rented a rototiller and it destroyed (in a good way) the ground we were tilling. The check out and return procedure was super easy and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable - would definitely recommend!

I am very impressed with the product knowledge, courteous and honest staff. I say honest as they gave me a promotional discount I didn't know was in effect. Over the phone the staff were able to help me choose which models best fit my requirements. Curb side pickup was easy and staff gave me a quick but thorough product use demonstration and loaded the purchases in my vehicle with great care. I highly recommend Rental Village Carleton Place and they will be my first choice for future equipment purchases.

Staff is unwilling to take accountability for a screwup that they did.

Ordered a scissor lift for 12 days called it off on the 12th day. They never picked it up until a week later and they still charged me for the week even though I have the phone records to show other wise. Jack claims he is the only one there, I plan to despite with the Visa company for the additional charges.
