I went with my sister to tour Riverview Terrace. Paulette gave a great tour. When we decided that my sister would move in, Hayden did the assessment. They made it possible for my sister to move in quickly. A great start and we hope it continues to be a great experience.

Their coordinated efforts included phone calls, emails, a tour of Riverview Terrace, an assessment at the hospital, and permission to access the room to move furniture in before the move in date was truly remarkable. All within 48 hours, just days before Christmas.

Your teamwork and professionalism have made an immeasurable difference to our family during this transition, and we are deeply grateful for your support and compassion.

Our family was thrilled to still be able to celebrate our Christmas gathering in the activity room at Riverview Terrace. MaryAnn and the culinary team went above and beyond to provide us with hot beverages, which added a special touch to our celebration.

Our extended family was equally impressed with the beautifully designed interior layout of the home. The festive Christmas decorations throughout created a warm and inviting atmosphere that truly made the day feel special.

Our father’s PSW, Claudette, has made a tremendous impact in just a short time. Despite only knowing our father for a couple of days, she went out of her way to come and say goodbye to him at our Christmas celebration before going on holidays. This thoughtful and caring gesture deeply touched our family.

Working many years at Riverview Terrace says it all, it’s evident that the home is a wonderful place to work, fostering a team of dedicated and compassionate individuals like Claudette and Pam.

Many thanks to Corine, Dana, and Lisa for always taking the time to answer our questions. Their approachable and friendly demeanor has been truly appreciated, and it makes all the difference in creating a welcoming and supportive environment.

Our father shared that all the staff are pleasant, courteous, and always open to sharing a joke or listening to a story. Their warmth and friendliness have made a positive impression on himself and family.

Your genuine care and concern for the well-being of the residents is truly evident. Thank you for your unwavering support in helping our father adjust to his new home while also encouraging and maintaining his independence.

My father recently moved to Riverview Terrace and I cannot say enough wonderful things! MaryAnn was the Retirement Living Consultant at the time and made my dad’s transition absolutely seamless. She is so friendly and approachable, she went above and beyond for our family, always making herself available. She has since been promoted to Executive Director and we could not be happier! The entire team at Riverview, from nursing/psw’s, recreation, culinary, environmental services and maintenance has been incredible. My dad is very happy with the services and friendly atmosphere. Our Family thanks each and every team member and highly recommends Riverview Terrace for retirement living.

My mother was overcharged $700 in January and I'm still fighting to get her money back. The cable didn't work for 2 months, and she was still charged. They never return calls or emails. Numerous times I went in person to speak to the director, but she was never there. On the rare occasion she did answer, she said she would follow up and call back, but it never happens. I can't imagine seniors that don't have a family member to help them with finances. My mother would be overcharged, and she wouldn't even know it. I paid for my mother to be ported to and from dinner and one time I was visiting, and they never came for her, I had to go ask why. She would've missed dinner if I hadn't been there. Not sure if this happened when I wasn't there, but I'm thinking it did. During a 2-week lockdown due to Covid, meals were brought to the rooms of all residents, but I was still charged $350 for porting fees. She didn't leave her room, why were they charging her? Some of the nursing staff were lovely with my mother. My rating of one star is far too high. I'm glad I got her out of there and somewhere else. She was only there for 3 months.
