My husband and I recently discovered a hidden gem in the heart of Brantford. We were driving by when we spotted the sign and decided to check it out – and we’re so glad we did! Julie, the co-founder who runs the business alongside her husband, is such a wonderful person. She kindly gave us some samples to try, but since I had just had surgery, I stayed away from the Habanero. My absolute favorite is the Crimson sauce.

These sauces are available in local stores, and by picking up one (or a few), you're not just supporting a family-owned business, but you're also getting excellent value for your money and a sauce that will undoubtedly tantalize your taste buds. That night, my husband made air-fried chicken, and it was absolutely amazing with the Roseanne Peppers sauce (Crimson & Habanero). The next day, I tried it with wontons... oh my goodness! You really need to grab these sauces. see photo below

I'm letting you know right now... Do not leave the store with just 1 bottle... It's not enough! These peppers are so yummy and are good on everything... From breakfast to dinner and every meal in between. There is a heat level for everyone.. from mild to hot... By far my households favorite condiments.. A family owned local business operated by amazing people.. They offer free samples at their store.

These peppers are amazing! My top two are Poblano & Crimson.
Poblano is amazing on eggs. It's hard having eggs without these peppers! My favourite way to use the crimson peppers is on a bagel with cream cheese - or really with any cheese! Definitely check out this small, family-run business 🙂

Seriously my fave condiment. So, I actually eat and drink for a living and I can attest to the fact Roseanna's Peppers is always in my frig and on the side or top, of every meal. I am a true supporter of this business because it is so flipping awesome led by a passionate duo with a fabulous story plus with big bold beautiful flavours. Don't let the peppers name scare you, because there is a heat level for all food lovers. My fave is the Crimson for the salty, oily medium heat, and yet the others are equally amazing, fresh and slick. Stopped at Roseannas today to try their peppers..6 out 5! 4 styles from mild to a bit hotter. I chose the hot bannana..perfect for pasta and any dish you want to add a bit of flavour or spice to instead of adding extra salt or pepper. Julie and Rick were very informative as well!

We had the crimson with fresh sour dough bread and cheese it was delicious. Sweet hint of smoke not much but a silent kick at the end 5 stars. Then tried habanero on pasta Nice kick of heat and flavor that kept on giving.

As a hot pepper enthusiast I have tirelessly searched for the best hot peppers i could find. My search ended today at 198 King George Road in Brantford with the opening of Roseanna’s Pepper’s.

There is no shortage of people who claim to make the best hot peppers but they usually are more focused on the Scoville scale than they are the flavour notes. So when I read the backstory of how Roseanna’s came to be, I was doubtful that they would take the crown. Boy, was i wrong.

The part open to the public is much smaller than the storefront suggests. It has a boutique-y, crisp and clean feel to it when you walk in. I happened to be there during their grand opening so
I got to try samples. A lovely woman who i think was the owner (I am annoyed i forgot to ask her name) presented me with a sample plate which included lovely little rounds of bread and two types of pepper products - Hot Banana & Crimson.

The Crimson was delicious. The peppers were bathed in a light delicious oil that had been infused by the sweet little chunks of red chili pepper. It had a nice subtle heat that i think would be fabulous for even those who tend to not like spicy.

The Hot Banana was delicious as well with a slightly spicier finish coupled with a nice tartness. Fabulous

I cant say which one i liked more as they were both delicious in their own way. I cant wait to add them to pizza, eggs and anything else i can think of.

Just when i thought it couldn’t be any better they brought out their Roseanna’s Pepper’s Infused Crackers. These are the perfect pairing to their pepper products. Delicious and light with a nice spicey finish. I couldn’t get enough.

There are other peppers in their line-up that were not readily available at the time of my visit. That simply means i will have to come back to try those as well. I am very happy that Roseanna’s is here and you should be too! Give them a try, you wont be disappointed.
