Deli: Delicious sandwiches and friendly staff. We tried the grilled vegetable panini and brie with cranberry chicken. Both were delicious. Pricier than a regular cellophane wrapped grocery sandwich, but well worth it if you enjoy food.
Store: The rest of the store looks clean and organized with a good selection of things you would need when visiting. Given the location, it's very convenient downtown, but admittedly pricier too given that and the fact that it's carries more unique items.

Went to Canmore during Thanksgiving weekend and went inside this Grocery to grab something. The lady at the counter was watching on her phone and seems like somehow irritated that we interrupted her Marathon/watching because we're buying 🤷🏻‍♀️ sorry but I find it rude.

The most expensive store that I have ever been.Disgusting! I fell sorry for people that live in Canmore. Do not go unless you have to !SHAME ON YOU. That is a very sad excuse gouging people on Christmas day just because you are the only one open .Your staff that is different topic I can leave review about that too and you won't like it again Your services and products and prices are ridiculous 🙄 SHAME ON YOU AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Last part of my review is response to the owner comment which he removed I guess he is ashamed 😔 SHAME ON YOU no you did not take it for that reason you had bad excuses like I am the only one open so i can do whatever I want . Anyone can come and check your prices and service and see for themselse DO BETTER NEXT TIME

Love their support for local small businesses. Staff and owners have always been amazing in the many times i have been in here. The store is very cute and organized and I feel very welcome every time I come. Thank you =)

Yikes. The deli comes off as artisan and lots of products are made in house it appears. But the “chef-inspired” food falls way short. This is what $10 gets you, some boiled pasta tossed with processed “Parmesan” and supposedly arugula but there is none seen. So then you wonder if it’s a pesto? But then there’s no basil. So you pay $10 for boiled tasteless pasta. And the mortadella sandwich is on the oiliest focaccia I’ve ever seen. Made it nearly inedible. So eat here at your own risk

Awesome local grocer/corner store. They carry allot of locally made products like soaps and baked goods. Bought a fabulous Egyptian sour dough loaf and herb and cheese focaccia buns made by the Uprising bakery. Best focaccia I've ever had! It was amazingly savoury and chewy. Highly recommended stopping in Rusticana for a treat! Check out their freezer for a nice selection of locally made vegan soups and meat pies from Vallbella or a wholesome vegan meal from An Edible life eatery.

Have you ever enjoyed the magic that is the Japanese konbini? This reminded me of that, but with an alpine spin. Ready to eat, lots of charcuterie items, single serving sticky toffee pudding, energy shots, even egg salad sandwiches. Add onto that some very fancy shampoos and hand soaps and you've got a very enticing store. It's not cheap, but I think they've nailed their market. Perfect for the tourist who needs to pick up some beer next door and some banana bread for the a.m. Recommend the butter tart slice!

Have supported this amazing groceteria for years. I did notice several lineal feet of Valbella products still on their shelves. I suppose they actually believe that Jeff Von Rotz has magically been cured of his hard core hateful rhetoric, or was his tepid contrition simply a business decision? While I won't ever support Valbella again, Rusticana is still on my list. Just too bad I have to walk past all that food that curdle my stomach.
