I’ve been to this hairdresser twice now, and was worked on by two incredible barbers! Both times, I was blown away by how much time, and attention they took. The salon is always busy as hell, but that doesn’t reflect in the job they do.
I also love how there is always someone at the front to answer the phones! Getting a haircut is, to me, relax time, and the phone endlessly ringing ruins that. I highly recommend this salon.
Thanks to all that have made my haircuts a positive experience!

Got a cut and hair colour over there as of ending January 2022, the lady bleached my hair and most of my hair was bleached enough to fall out and I kept telling her it was on fire she just said “hmph you’ll be okay” she continued and did another ladies hair I was waiting under the head warmer thing for 2 hours 🫤 she just said “ahh screw it hair grows back anyway” and she cut my hair short I only asked to take the dead ends off basically had a males hair cut had possibly 5-8 inches of hair I had shoulder length hair.
I wouldn’t give it 1 star I asked for half off or something at the front desk but she laughed and said no.
So humiliating ☹️

I've been having my hair cut by Melissa for years since Dora left and she has done an amazing job with my styles, whether decided by her or requested by me. She's always friendly and we have some good laughs - she also manages not to stab me while laughing, which is a feat unto itself. 😁

If you don't book an appointment with enough prior notice, sometimes Melissa gets fully booked. I've had to wait a couple weeks for her, but she's worth it.

As for the shop itself, Breanne and her family have made some great investments into the facilities over the years. I remember when it was a cozy little place called Just Jo's, but now it's a fully equipped salon with tanning, massage, and multiple other beauty services I don't use myself, but they look pretty decked out.

If you're new in town and want Thompson's most fanciest experience, this is my go-to! And if you're a Thompsonite who's never tried them for some reason, shame on you!

Melissa is good always can get a decent haircut from her. There is a new guy there who just moved from Costa Rica and he does a barber style cut that was done perfectly. I highly recommend the new guy for an excellent barber cut.
