Got new meter. It leaked. Took four calls to get it repaired. The first three was just a little leak. On the fourth call I told them there was water in my yard but it was not a major gusher or anything. Just a leak. They were there in a few hours.

Dug up the meter box and fixed the leak. But left a huge gaping hole around the box! Seriously SAWS with this?

I called and asked if they went to get dirt. No response for an hour so I went to Lowe's and bought dirt. Could not leave it that way.

Leaving Lowe's I saw two missed calls and I knew SAWS would be at my house when I got back. ?

Sure enough, they came and replaced the entire water box and filled in the hole. The first guy even jammed some rocks in to hold it up. The guy they sent to fix it was the foreman.

Bottom line, I felt like I got great service every time I called and when it was a bigger problem, SAWS came right out and (sort of) fixed it. They jumped right on fixing their subpar first fix...and had a great attitude and level of service all day.

Pretty grateful for great service today. Thanks SAWS.

Also, now I own dirt.

I nearly keeled over when I opened my June water bill. FIVE-HUNDRED AND THIRTY-FOUR DOLLARS plus change. Never in my billing history has my water ever gone above $125 and that was because of filling my pool twice because of a faulty pump. Usually my bill is $45-55 bucks. SAWS doesn’t care about how frugal you’ve been for the past 35 years, that you had a plumber conduct a pressure test, that you watched their videos and followed their suggestions and still NO evidence of a water leak. My husband passed this May 28 after 29 years of marriage. I’ve lost his income. I begged for a digital meter so this won’t happen again. SAWS could give a care. I just got July’s bill and it’s almost right back to the norm except now I have a huge fee tacked on. Well at least they were kind enough to put me on a payment plan 🙁

My water bill went from $160.05 to $355.31 in one months time when I called the water company to inquire about it they said they have somebody come back and read the meter again they read the meter again and found that they had misread the meter They said it was at 24 points. And should have 23 points. They gave me a $$38 credit to my bill when the water bill was $195.93 more than it was the month before telling me it’s probably because of a water leak in my toilet. Do a test to see if that’s it and if it is correct the problem and then I may qualify to get a credit itere is only person in the house was my little nephew he in school and working how much water do they think he was using! I was out of town for over six months and there was no one in the house I paid no intention to bill because my mother was sick and it was on autopay or I would’ve called them when the bill went from $66.55 to 8189. I guess this is how you can treat people when you’re the only company in town that you can get water from. The customer service agent that spoke with me on escalation call sound if she could care less about my problems she just felt that they read the meter right and the credit they gave me was all I needed and kept telling me that my water is Usage is higher than I normally use! But in her credit, I must say she did tell me to have a good day after saying they wouldn’t credit me back the money they took out of my account. I had checked for leaks before I called the company because my bill is never high unless we have a water leak. There were none but they insist there must be a leak somewhere. This company could do better by its customers.

Corruption at its finest. First wouldn't let me put utilities into my name, then cut off my water with no notice, now that i moved, charged me full monthly fee for sewage and connection for 3 days of service and the new person is paying for the same time period too. No adults would answer my emails, just the script kiddies that tell me that it's correct. Seems like FRAUD to me. Oh, lets not forget they dont comply with state code for plumbing pipe depth.... half the meters in my neighborhood are at or above ground level.

Reported a major leak at 12 Noon, inspector came by at 2 PM, and crew started working at 4 PM. By 7 PM they had fixed the issue. Amazing! I have lived in many, many places and this is the best water utility that I have seen so far in my life.

This company is as crooked as can be ! They need to be investigated, money refunded to the customers they rip off and totally restructured/rebuilt. They are charging me an outrageous average rate for the first 3 months of service that I won't come anywhere near using telling me it's done that way until they have 3 months of usage to create another average rate without ever refunding me for any over charging!!!! How in the world is that legal or ethical AND they want a deposit that they won'treturnfor a year !!! There are no other options for water/sewer service so they can do whatever they want This is Mob business practices... Totally crooked!!

I got payment arrangements a few weeks ago. Then I get a letter about my payment arrangement letter. Today I got a disconnecting note that I need to pay my full bill. If not my water will turned off sum time next week. Smfh ? ? ?

Prices skyrocketing and service is JUNK! Making it so complicated so they can get more money out of you. Need help with a leak, good luck!! If we had another option we would take it but we have no other options. SAWS used to be priced well and have good customer service, not any more! Trash
