Four feet of snow over three days Saulco was lined up with people buying snow blower parts and machines. They still took the time to explain a new snowblower before I bought. Excellent information on gas and oils. Very knowledgeable. They even delivered my new Ariens after hours and took my old blower away for repair.

Ive had the opportunity to work closely with the fine people at Saulco Enterprises on behalf of Jami Filkin. She purchased at Cub Cadet LX42 and bagger, They were vere knowledgeable and answered all the questions she asked in a way that she understood, as this was her first purchase of a lawn tractor. Highly recommend them for all your lawnmower to chain saw needs, whether it be your a purchase or parts and service.

I was recently in the shop where it was determined that my chainsaw was not feasible to get fixed. So I started asking about a couple of models. The one I had pretty well decided on was a pro saw selling for just over a thousand dollars. As I was leaving I asked if I could return a filter I had bought from them for the dead saw a week or two earlier thinking it would be a no-brainer. It was an unopened stock item. I was shocked that they would not refund the filter - especially given the situation. No mention was made at the time that the filter would not be returnable. This seems particularly suspicious given that the packaging shows a date of December 2014. It appears that they had dumped old stock on me and were glad to get rid of it. Add the fact that they sold me this air filter for $75 taxes in! Wow. $75 for a piece of plastic.
At any rate, I had a saw rebuilt there a couple of years ago and have bought the odd part and consummables in an effort to support a local small business. I really don't understand their business model. For the sake of a $75 refund they have lost the sale of a new saw, future repairs, and other purchases. I try to support local business but in this case that is just not going to happen. As two final nails in the coffin, they wanted to charge $40 for a setup fee for a saw that has autotune. What is there to setup? Another local authorized dealer said there would be no setup fee. Secondly Saulco also told me that the sale price was for in stock items only. The other local dealer was willing to bring a saw in and honour the sale price as long as it wasn't back ordered. Take that for what it is worth. It saddens me to write this but I feel strongly this needs to be shared. Hopefully others have a much better experience. I wish them nothing but the best but hope they change their business model. This of course is just my experience. Your mileage may vary.

I am new to Bracebridge and was looking for a local business to purchase a new snow blower. Saulco was suggested by a neighbour so I checked out their website. I was impressed that they displayed in stock items in real time so I phoned to order a unit. This is a busy place and was not surprised to leave a phone message for a return call. Beth called me back to discuss availability and possible time line for delivery. She was very personable and knowledgeable. We had a good chat about purchasing options and their after sales service. I didn’t feel pressured to buy immediately, so Beth left me to think over what I wanted to do. I made a decision and called back to place an order. When I visited the store to pay, I met Beth and had another great friendly conversation about their business operations and left feeling confident they would be there for me when after sales service would eventually be required. I prefer to shop local and Saulco Enterprises will be getting my future business as a result of a very positive shopping experience.

I had another great experience with Saulco today. I have been dealing with them since 2005 and they have supplied me with products, parts, and service over the years.

Recently I bought a new lawnmower there and they gave me great advice on proper service and fuel considerations.

Today I was picking up parts for an older lawn tractor. The right part on the first try!

I feel fortunate to have a company that does more than just sell products. They have maintained a great service level all through the pandemic by keeping their staff and customers as safe and healthy as possible.
