Save your time and choose Bell. It’s sad to say but this company does not seem to have knowledgeable or able techs. It takes a long time to get an install date and the internet is terrible. Some techs can’t climb poles. Why would you work in this industry if you’re not able bodied? Tech went to a friends house to see if they needed an extender after they were told the great distance from the home to the garage. What a waste of company money. Paying them to drive around, not to mention the price of gas. What happened to this company ? It was much better years ago. It shouldn’t take so long to get a service call taken care of. Very disappointing. Bell seems to have it together. The techs are knowledgeable and climb poles. They get the job done fast and efficient. That’s what we are paying for. I hope Roger’s figures this out soon before they are the next place in Cape Breton shut down.

Worker blindly drilled into my wall and put a huge hole in my dresser. Never told me about it, discovered myself when he left and I was cleaning the dust from drilling. Would’ve been more understanding if I had gotten an apology instead of ignoring what happened. Should be checking on the other side of the wall before drilling.

Internet is terrible. When its good for the small amount of time it runs great. But most of the time its just packet loss, not getting my mbps and sometimes wont even load netflix, disney, etc...I game quite a bit and its a nightmare 70% of the time. Go with fiberop if its available in your area.

Moved from New Glasgow & was disappointed to see Purple Cow wasn't available. Tried to call Seaside on 6 separate occasions to install their ultimate package since I need internet for work. No answer and after a few minutes on hold it just hangs up on you. I went to Bell and ordered online. Got 500Mbps for $5 cheaper than Seaside. I'm not sure about their internet but their customer service lacks if they can't even pick up a phone for a new customer.

Equipment wasn’t great. Wire connections kept falling out of modem at the slightest touch. Switched to another provider

The people who work here are great the services are terrible. I have nothing but issues with phone, cable & internet. I live in the country & if I could find another provider for my area I would change in a heartbeat!

I've had Seaside (Wireless) Internet by line-of-sight to the Baddeck Tower for over ten years now. Their service has been amazingly reliable, and they do fast repairs over the phone or by site visit for the two disconnect episodes over those years. They also allow seasonal disconnect at no charge. I have zero complaints. Their wireless internet connection service is super fine.

I don’t understand all the negative reviews. I don’t find that I’ve experienced excessive outages with Seaside High Speed. When we lose power it goes out, but that’s to be expected. I find their customer service people friendly and helpful and the tech people are the same. And anyone who thinks Bell would be better to deal with, should live rural like I do. I have to have a landline because Bell Mobility cell service is horrible here. And in the past year my landline has gone dead frequently. It goes out when the power goes out even though there is a battery setup quite close to me that’s supposed to kick in. Their workers have basically said it can be upgraded but Bell isn’t interested in repairing it. Seaside isn’t perfect, but it’s worked well for me.
