I had called on a Thursday afternoon looking for some advise regarding a plugged tub drain. I spoke to a gentleman who I can't remember the name of - who was happy to give me some trouble shooting tips on using the drain-snake I had purchased. We determined through a series of different attempts to run it down to the clog, that they would need to send a plumber out here with some specialized tools to work around the kinks in the drain line that were obviously present.

So - I had asked when he thought they could get someone out to my house. He said Thursday was full - but he could get someone out there for Friday, and that someone would call me on Friday when they were on the way. I was happy with this answer, as I expected a little bit of urgency because Shewfelt's had been out to my house a year prior to unclog the exact same drain - which had only been used 2 or 3 times since the last clog was removed. Which - I did explain to the gentleman on the phone. So, after being told Friday- I took the day off work and stayed home to wait for Shewfelt's. I waited all day long, and lost a day's worth of pay, and didn't even get so much as a phone call to say they WEREN'T coming. No call on the weekend either. I didn't get a call until nearly 11am the following Monday. When I explained to the lady who called that I had already dealt with the clog myself, because they no-showed and didn't communicate on Friday, she just hung up. Did not even offer as much an apology for the WASTING of my time and money. As a returning customer - I am very disappointed to see how much Shewfelt's does not value their customer base and 10/10 do not recommend calling on them unless you have absolutely no other choice. Disappointing, because again, I was a return customer and generally pretty impressed with their services up to this point.
