Steve (the owner) is great. He was coming around to tables regularly, making sure we had everything while cracking jokes. It was our first time there, and we will definitely be returning. Food and drinks were great, very tasty paired with great service. We had dusted wings, Margareta flatebread, and the bang bang shrimp (very tasty).

Update. The lady and I enjoyed this place and the service that she wanted to go back for valentine's. We went for the valentine's special and it was superb. We ordered wanton poke and the braised beef pasta (phenomenal)

Really great lunch with my partner and two of our kids. Middle of the afternoon on a long weekend - pretty quiet at the Slye Fox, but the service and the food were outstanding. Charlotte gets a lot of credit for the great experience - friendly, helpful, and flexible with what we thought might be complicated requests. One of us wanted the Hangover Burger - but vegetarian as well as the Lavender Lemonade cocktail - but non-alcoholic. Neither was an issue.
My partner and I wanted to share the Saturday rib special - also, no problem.
The kitchen staff also get a tremendous amount of credit for this excellent lunch. The ribs were amazing - the very definition of 'fall off the bone'. If you visit on a Saturday, strongly consider the ribs!
The Hangover Burger in its vegetarian version was good (probably much better in its regular version...)
The final order was the Nashville Chicken Crunch - rated delicious and the portions made for two meals.
All of us had fries as the side, and they were fantastic.
Great experience! I'm really looking forward to getting back - especially for those ribs!

The best restaurant around!! Service was amazing and the food was second to none. We were here on wing night and they were amazing. We were there as a family butn8 could certainly come here with some friends to have a few beers after a long day. The atmosphere and ambiance wa great. If you're in the area, this place needs to be a staple in your dining out routine. If you haven't been here yet...what are you waiting for? You're going to love it.

Very good first experience. I was impressed by the service, food quality and wait times on a Friday night. However, the place was at full capacity and it was pretty tight. People were bumping into our chair and table as they tried to get around. The space overall isn't that big but I don't think there is anything they can do to improve the seating. Definitely wouldn't recommend bringing a stroller or walking device here on a busy night as it would be impossible to get around. It was also pretty loud so I feel like this place is better suited for adults. Overall I still recommend!

Hubby and I went for brunch, Caesar for him, mimosa for me..eggs benedict and western sandwich both with home fries, delish and served promptly. Server Sarah was friendly and knowledgeable, she has us coming back for her favourite suggestion “honey pepper pimento chicken sandwich” can’t wait to come back and try!

They might as well have told me that the kitchen was closed. I popped in to place an order to go. I ordered 2 pounds of wings and two orders of fries to go on Tuesday night. When I got home, the fries looked like they had been sitting there all night. They were dry, discoloured and smelled stale. The wings were sub-par at best. Maybe this place is better during the day but I feel like they could have been honest and just told me the kitchen was closed instead of being greedy to make one last sale at the end of the night. I would have given zero stars hadn’t it been for the lovely bartender who took my order and was so friendly to me and my kids. Won’t be going back again.

Holiday Monday Family Day at the Fox! Good food and great service as always. I also had to work today, it was great to see a smiling face behind the bar. Nacho Cheeseburger was messy and awesome as usual. Keep up the great work!

Stopped in for lunch today! Was greeted with great service and incredible food! This place is a must if you live in the Hamilton area
