Some things are cheaper to buy in bulk, not all.
The items that are on sale are generally your best bet, know your prices. Kudos for extending weekday hours to 6p.m.

It was my first time there and I found the staff friendly and helpful. The store was clean with a good selection and for what I needed the prices were excellent! I’ll definitely go back again!

Prices are steadily rising and are no longer wholesale for many items. You need to know your prices if you shop there, while it was more affordable a year ago ,this is no longer the case.
There are still some cheaper items there but you have to comparison shop.
Some of the staff are friendly but others seem genuinely miserable to be working there, I guess this is the case for a lot of places nowadays.

I would give you a ZERO star if I could!!
SOBEYS WHOLESALE CASH AND CARRY on Foord Street.
Went in with my father today , filled our cart and went to the checkout. One of the employees looked at my father and said “Don’t park in the handicap parking and save it for someone else”. My father replied with “I have my handicap sticker displayed , my doctor gave it to me because of a heart condition”, to which this EMPLOYEE looked at my father and said “Well you don’t look handicapped so don’t park there”
I am absolutely DISGUSTED and APPALLED and not to mention my father is highly embarrassed that this employee said this infront of several customers.
My father has a disabled pass due to several health conditions including a recent quadruple-bypass, not that the reason his doctor gave him the pass is ANY of his business.
Needless to say, Sobeys has completely lost our business from here on out, due to the ignorance,insulting,disrespectful and absolutely appalling behaviour of YOUR EMPLOYEES. DO BETTER!!!!

It was actually a fun little visit to stock up for a wing night and a burrito night with friends. They have a hybrid situation there where you are able to buy a lot of products in bulk and some standard household sizes of other items. Staff there was friendly and helpful. If you don't see something you are looking for just ask.

We called 2 locations today to place an order for Tuesday
The second location was Stellarton, the phone was answered promptly and we spoke with Rose, who was not only helpful, but patient and informative. She always speaks in the positive, and discusses what she "can do",....
"I can look into the warehouse inventory system and check for you, I can speak with my boss, we can contact Head office and find out for you, I can call you back with that information".
Rose did call us back within an hour, informed us that everything was in stock and would be ready for us to pick up Monday Morning
Contrary to our discussion with another location, I felt like a valued customer and this location appreciated our business.
