Words can not describe how amazing Dr Shauna MacIver is. I've been her patient for 17 years, and the care I receive is immeasurable.
She is kind, patient, understanding, and most importantly, she listens to your needs and wishes and supports your decisions.

I also started seeing Dr. Duncan MacIver who is also great and extremely knowledgeable, solving a problem I faced for many years that no other psychiatrist seemed to be able to figure out.

I have been seeing Dr. Shauna MacIver for many years. She is by far the best doctor I have ever had! Instead of sending you home with meds, she truly gets to the bottom of the issue and will then create a medication plan if needed.
She listens, educates, offers resources as needed and never makes me feel like I am understood and heard.

Shauna is one of the most patient, kind and actually enjoys humor sometimes. She talks about alternatives if your interested instead of just giving a drug to cover the problem. I am very happy she is in medicine. Been with her now for over 30 odd years and NEVER have I left her office dissatisfied. When it come to healthcare in Alberta she is a jem and I deeply appreciate her wisdom and care she gives.

The staff at times can be a bit disconnected, but I give them tons of grace because they get so many Karens and Keiths barking at their faces for things they cannot control and I know that can wear a person down.

Best thing to do is shower them with kindness and yes love. It's amazing how it changes their frowns to a smile.

Disregard posted hours
They are falsely advertising their hours. I was in horrible pain with a UTI. Looking for a Dr who was open late after my work was over. Saw they were open till nearly 5am I got in my car and rushed over. Saw lights on but the door was locked and when I called the automated system said closed. Please change your hours so people don't think they can come to you for urgent care that isn't bad enough for the ER.

My husband is a patient of Dr McGiver for 20 yrs and we have found the clinic hours of late to be deplorable. They call wanting him to contact the office and we continuously get a recording that the office is not open... they could give the best time to call back would be .... not happy.
