I have to agree, love Dr. Macedo but the receptionist is beyond rude. Next time I will not hesitate to let her know that we are human beings on the other end of the phone. What a horrible representation of a community clinic that has been here in st. Albert for years.

Iv been going to this clinic my whole life, my children even go to this clinic. However lately I have found the receptionist to be incredibly rude. They have no respect for you as a patient or person. I say this in the nicest way but some people should not be working with the public, and unfortunately that is how I am feeling with the current receptionist. Hopefully that changes soon as bad starf can make a whole clinic get a not so great reputation.

The doctors are incredible here. Quite literally life changing. But the receptionists are condescending, in a dehumanizing way. I just haven't been spoken to like this in years so it's a shell shock to have it happen.
I will limit how often I have to come to this office, specifically #209, the family clinic.

If you're neurodivergent or have different capacities please stay away from here.

I've been going to this clinic 20+ years. They are all wonderful knowledgeable doctors. The receptionists have always been very patient and helpful with me getting me in to see my doctor. I have to go for monthly checkups and life happens, so sometimes I need to change the appointments around. I would highly recommend this clinic.

My Physician is very kind and helpful. I am grateful to have a Doctor who truly cares about his patients. The nurses at the nursing desk always return calls and do their best to help with care that is needed. It is great that there is a whole team that works together. They also have last minute emergency appointments in the morning for those who have infections and such. Grateful for phone appointment ability during COVID.

Good place, my family doctor is here, and he is nice. The receptionists are quite nice too and can be serious sometimes, and there's only been one time where a receptionist sounded annoyed when I called, but that was a long time ago. The x-ray people are also kind and helpful, along with the nurses that do my check-ups. My doctor is great and all but I've heard sometimes from my family members that they find it hard to get a solution to their health problems from them. Although other than that I find he's helpful, listens well, and is patient. This location is usually busy too, and sometimes you have to wait a few days for an appointment opening, but if you call in the morning you can sometimes get a day-of appointment if they have an opening.

Update: I feel like the staff has improved and are making a co conscious effort to do better. I have change my rating and no longer feel the following…

Good doctors horrible staff. Receptionist are horribly rude and abrupt. They talk down to patients, interrupt them and have horrible etiquette. If anyone spoke to me like this in public I wouldn’t hesitate to punch them in the face. This staff forgets they are dealing with people with medical issues. This could be depression, anxiety, memory loss, or suffering from traumatic events. They act as gate keepers and are in serious power trips. Absolutely appalling that they actually are given jobs.
