Was originally scheduled for Rockyview for hip resurfacing and was switched here last moment. So glad, as this is definitely top notch and smaller scale and the level of care far exceeded any expectations. My surgeon Dr Werle, the anaesthesiologist,the post surgery recovery nurses, and the care nurses in my room were all tremendous and attentive and never missed a beat. The physio gals were a hoot as well. Thanks again to all the staff here and maybe see you jn the fall for the next hip because I'd feel very comfortable in these professionals care!

from the moment my husband and I entered the reception center area, we felt very comfortable. It was hilarious, the nurses were all laughing & friendly. All the nurses & doctors were so pleasant and happy , I can’t tell you how much I appreciated it, putting me at ease,
My progress with my knee is slow but coming along. I have the great support of an encouraging physiotherapist.
The nerve pain has been a huge problem but seems to be subsiding.
I had 3 large scabs on the incision that weren’t coming off, so my doctor had to remove them & send me to our hospital homecare unit for wound care. It’s taken a couple of months, but they are nearly healed. They have given me some long compression socks to take the swelling down. The nurses did suggest that you should put them on knee replacement patients before being discharged. I really did appreciate the “ice machine “. It gave me a lot of relief at the beginning.

From the moment I engaged with Surgical Solutions I was treated as a valued client. Yes, they are a fee-for-service organization but "value for money" they are certainly worth what I paid for. I was kept thoroughly informed of the process every step right up until the day of the surgery. The bed-side manner of the surgeon, anesthesiologist, nurses and support staff was exceptional. Pre and post-surgery consultations by the Doctor is the gold standard for what we should expect from medical professionals.

I had a hip replacement done at Canadian Surgery Solutions on October 18, 2023. CSS was very professional and well organized. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout and the surgeon kept me well informed both before and after the procedure. My recovery was quicker than I expected and by 6 weeks post op, I was able to return to many of the activities I was doing prior to my hip pain.

I would do it again in a heartbeat!

First contact through the actual procedure took 4 weeks. Very happy with how quick things came together after months of suffering and no contact or info coming from our "Universal Healthcare System". Won't hesitate to go this route again should I ever need anything else.
