Swift, we are devastated that you sold out to Xplore. You guys gave us the most incredible internet in our rural location. Since being with Xplore, speed tests can't even get higher than 1 mbps! I know this review isn't applicable to what services you offer now, but SO many customers have been majorly let down by this sell out. We can't get Valley Fiber where we live, so our only option now is tethering to our phones because Xplore is so bad. Wish you guys all the best, but wish you had never sold out to Xplore. They are worse than dial up. Miss having Evan around as he was local, cared about his customers, and made sure Manitoba had good internet! So long, farewell. Time for some other internet company to provide some healthy competition and start up in rural MB. Valley Fiber is moving too slow, and can't reach as many customers as Swift did back in the day. Seeing Swift Underground trucks just makes me sad now, as I think back to the good days with Swift High Speed. 😔

They are working 2 miles down from our house and have backing large trucks down our driveway to turn them around for months. They have damaged our driveway and the grass on either side. Last week a work truck was parked in our driveway blocking our exit. They forced my husband to drive almost in the ditch when he left for work because they wouldn't remove the truck from our property. Will not ever sign up for their services. Can't even contact them about it as the email on their website is junk.

Swift High Speed has always bettered their booking time estimates and they arrived when they said the would. Installation crews were pleasant to deal with and informative. Questions to them or other staff have been addressed quickly and courteously and the service is stellar. Again they exceed their specs - speeds are better than advertised and the only service outage we have had was acknowledged and explained immediately. Now Swift High Speed has boosted our level of service at no additional cost, just because they could. Their service - technical and personal - are exemplary.

Had internet service for roughly a year now and have barely any connection drops and the speed is consistently right around where it should be. Still get the occasional connection drop or slower speeds, but still better that the previous provider I had previously. The unlimited data which is a big upgrade from previous provider that I was with as well. I also recommended it to 1 of my cousins that lives in the current service area since their current provider is not performing as good as it should.

Service has not been the same since selling to Xplorenet

We decided to go with Swift because of the customer reviews, the service levels offered, no contract and no data caps. The customer service has been very good. I've seen comments with OTA vs wired not being as reliable. In the 8 months we've had the service there was 1 day we were affected by stormy weather. They are quick to send email updates regarding any service issues. I have friends using other services and we made the best choice.

Edit: The company is always working to better their service to you! They have installed wireless service in some areas and because of that they have bumped our service to the next level for the same price we were paying before! The technician showed up on time, was very courteous, knowledgeable and installed the receiver in the best possible spot to get the strongest signal! The plans/prices are great, very affordable and we’re not locked into a contract we don’t need! Very impressed with this company so far! Highly recommend if you are thinking of switching to do so! You won’t get a better service elsewhere.

We heard about Swift from a neighbor of ours, who had nothing but good things to say. After further research, and a free site visit from a Swift technician (who was very knowledgeable and patient to answer our questions), we decided to book our install date! The folks who run the phone lines are always very helpful and courteous. When the technicians came to do the actual install, they were respectful and professional (shout out to Sam and the other tech!), and managed to complete our install in less time than planned. No mess left behind. Our only regret is not switching to Swift sooner!

This was for explore net. Swift was fantastic!

So I signed up for fiber. The promise was high-speed, uninterrupted internet. Not only is it not fast it is the definition of interrupted.

Every 2-3 min all our internet drops out. I'm not the guy who complains without doing my due diligence.

First I called. They said to restart the modem. Great didn't help. Then they put me on hold for 15 min and hung up on me.

I called again later on and went through the same stuff. This time they checked my speed ping and a bunch of other stuff. They said it wasn't working but they were not sure why.

Again I call because I have an important zoom meeting coming up. Still no help. They sent out a technician who did exactly what I did over the phone.

Missed my meeting.

I called again this time angry. Finally they submitted a work ticket to get it fixed. Now after not being contacted for months I call again. They cancelled the ticket and didn't tell me. Now there is a new ticket.

What the actual heck. What does it take to get some customers service.
