I started using this hot tub company last year based on a local Facebook group recommendation. This company really is part of the fabric of this community. Their rates are beyond reasonable, and the service has been incredibly reliable.

Tropicana has now expanded to lawn care and winter snow removal. I didn’t even have to think twice. The guys came by and remove some dead trees; things I’ve been wanting to get done all summer

I’ve also retained their services to clear my driveway and shovel my walks. With this off my plate, I look forward to enjoying the winter.

If there was a way to rate 0 I would. Tropicana Pools was contracted and paid in full in Oct 2024 for snow removal using a blower. Of the handful of times they actually showed up..they plowed 2 passes in the driveway and never came back. Let me be clear..vehicles are parked in garage and on one occasion we went out and moved all the vehicles out of the way to be told.."we"ll be back after"...they never were. December they were in 2x and left a mess that they never came back to clear. They were a no-show through all of January...and didn't show up at all during the first major snowfall in February. Our video surveillance shows them in 3x in all of early February...early morning and never twice in the same day. So by 8am driveway was like it was never touched..let alone at 5pm. The homeowner here is incapacitated and needs daily PSW and in home nursing so ended up paying other people to keep the driveway clear so these services could access her driveway.
I have spoken with 6 other people in this community who have had/are having the same terrible experience and I know there are more. Alex Simek communicated with me..the tenant ...by Facebook messenger..never once called the homeowner directly. Contract was in her name and payment came from her.
Alex Simek/Tropicana Pools insists they have GPS tracking that shows they were here more than I claim....must be that fancy invisible snowblower/plow he owns..the one that does the imaginary snow removal.
Alex Simek/Tropicana pools did provide a partial refund...not nearly enough.
There is a lot more about this company I would love to sound off about but will leave it this...

We had a great experience, Mandy was awesome with the explaining the various hot-tub options. We purchased a Be Well 6 person tub. They delivered the tub right to our back deck. The delivery folks were great. We highly recommend them.

I visited the store with a water issue I had been struggling with for weeks. Mandy took the time to listen carefully to my concerns. Given that I had already treated the pool that day, she recommended that I return in two days with a new sample. The problem persisted, and when I came back, she provided the final solution that worked for me.

What stood out to me was her genuine willingness to listen and understand my concerns. She demonstrated a level of expertise that is rare in pool supply stores. It was more than just getting a test printout and selling me the recommended products; she took a thoughtful and informed approach to solving my problem.

Popped in to buy some of the cocktail bombs (highly recommend)... ended up buying some of the PharmaSpa, Aromatherapy oils and a floating cup to spice up my relaxation time in my soaker tub. Erin, Tyler and Mandy are such a breath of fresh air for Tropicana.

This guy is a joke , he did a no show with the first two big snow falls. One of his 86 year old clients had to shovel herself out. I do not recommend him at all. He should be ashamed of himself

My family has used Tropicana for over 20 years for all of our pool and spa needs. We had a new liner installed in our pool this year. After installation we noticed rocks under the liner in several spots, which could puncture the liner. We called almost immediately to address this issue. Alex never returned our calls and the woman who answers the phone when we called was always rude and unprofessional. They finally came back this fall to fix their mistake. The invoice was completely disproportionate as they were her to fix a mistake they made. I will never use this company based on the customer service experience alone.
