Dr. Walid Alhoussan is a professional and expert in medicine. Throughout my visits in the past 10 years, he has been able to go beyond the scope of family medicine and consult on various different fields, such as Paediatrics, ENT, Cardio, and many more with expertise. I just wanted to thank Dr. Walid for all the times you’ve made me feel welcome at your clinic ?

Dr. Walid is One of the most caring and attending physicians here in Ottawa. Due to my own chaos in my life, I’m always reaching out to him last minute with an emergency request and he always finds time in his day to fulfill the request.

It was 4:48 when I entered the clinic (which closes at 5pm). Asked the lady at the reception if I can register my newborn as a patient, she gave me a form to fill and still 10 min left till the clinic closes. She asked me to leave and come back another day because the clinic is closing. I told her to do her work by taking in a form that’d take me 5 min to fill up just before they close. She stayed persistent on not accepting the form and asked me to leave (again before the official closure time). When I told her she simply is not doing her work and I’ll be leaving a nice review for her here, she literally threatened me that the clinic won’t accept my newborn as a patient!

Dr. Alhoussan is a professional and respectable doctor. He is caring, patient and took the time to explain my symptoms and treatment plan. All of the clinic staff are friendly as well. The clinic is well-kept and a welcoming space. I would highly recommend this clinic for the various services they offer. A few people I know also go to this clinic and all of them had positive experiences so far.

Most important thing - the Doctor was fine and taking children between 0-9 years old.

On to things that annoy me, the pediatrician works for 10 hours a week making getting an appointment difficult.

It's 2024 and they only let 1 parent in the room. We need to get past the COVID mindset and encourage parents to participate equally in their children's care.

The receptionist is quite rude.

If you need a doctor and no one else calls you back, this place is accepting kids. Otherwise, I'd go elsewhere.

Alhoussan is a real scam, he'll charge his patient a 150$ fee for membership!? Notcovered by either health card nor private insurance. Will charge you an extra $$$ for any doctor note and he only takes cash!!

I cannot thank Dr. Walid and his warm and welcoming staff enough. Their professionalism and friendliness instantly put me at ease. The clinic itself was spotless and well-organized, creating a calming atmosphere.
Dr. Walid's expertise and skill as a doctor were evident during my consultation and treatment. He took the time to explain my condition thoroughly, answering all of my questions patiently and in a way I could understand. His attention to detail and personalized approach to my care were exceptional.
Not only did I receive excellent medical treatment, but Dr. Walid's genuine care and compassion made a huge difference. His kindness and empathy made me feel like I was being treated by a doctor who truly cared about my well-being.
