Typically, this clinic has treated me well. I tend to use it as a walk in clinic when my family doctor can't be seen right away. The wait at this clinic hadn't been too long and the doctors have been helpful. The past two times I visited, though, the experience has been lackluster. Both times has required an extended wait as the walk in doctor has arrived late. The first time I didn't believe it to be a big deal as these things will happen. The second time it happened tells me that this is a regular occurrence. An hour and a half after opening and the doctor still hadn't arrived to see the first patient. Three patients, including myself, got fed up and left. Pretty disrespectful for a doctor to continually keep patients waiting like this.

A walk-in clinic should probably operate within the posted hours of operations as one would expect. It’s 6:20pm, posted hours on line are until 7:00pm, but yet this location is closed.

Side note: I have been to this location in the past and the last visit wasn’t good either. I was told ny the walk-in doc that she’d send an update to my family doctor and she also recommended I purchase a finger splint for my broken finger. I bought the finger splint, booked an appointment with my family doc a couple weeks later since I haven’t heard anything. My family doc didn’t receive any update or an email at all from the doc at this walk-in clinic. My family doc shat her pants when she saw the finger splint and asked why I was wearing it. I told her I was instructed to buy one and wear as often as I can. Needless to say, that advice was the opposite of what was needed. Glad to see this location is on the ball. Good old medical experts just not doing their job as they should. Brutal!

Really good doctors here. My family dr is Dr. Ali and I've been seeing her for years, she is caring and listens to my concerns and takes me seriously. She is amazing and I live a ways away, but wouldn't dream of finding another family dr.

The wait times are long but I feel that's the case for any clinic (I personally blame lack of funding for Healthcare)

I've seen some other drs there, one for walk in for my son and he was so great with him. I unfortunately forget this drs name but he made sure my son felt comfortable.

I had a horrible experience with one dr here- dr. Payne. If you can avoid him at all costs I would. He was dismissive and rude and I left the clinic crying after my appointment with him. The problem I had gone in for had persisted for another couple of years because he told me "that doesn't happen" and in 3 years I found out that what I had told him I suspected happened was exactly what happened. He was the typical dismissive male dr you hear so many women complain about now.

40+ minute waits just save some time and go somewhere else. Lady at the front desk will let you stand there for 10 mins while doing nothing important then when you finally get a room its another 30-40 mins just to see the doctor. The front desk people seem to not care as they seem like its an inconvenience. I came in just for a prescription refill and have been waiting over an hour so i figured id take the time to write this. Doctors seem okay but receptionist and the wait make it just completely unprofessional even when I was the second one in the waiting room. Go somewhere else if you value your time

Tax Dollars Failing To Provide Proper Care
Will be contacting the CPSA (see below for details)after today over appointment with Dr. Chinyem Dzawanda to file an official complaint for looking into

Wrote this and apologise for doubting the low reviews
Figured it would be bad, just not this bad

Sought a doctor as advised via 811 as had a thorough consult and just did as instructed

Booked at another clinic online but it was cancelled earlier today and they rebooked it. Not by my choice but is what led me here today

Suffice it to say beyond regretting it now

This doctor broke privacy code today. Sharing EXTREMELY SENSITIVE & PRIVATE information that I did not discuss with the nurse prior to. She did this RIGHT in the middle of the hall between the rooms where other patients were waiting
She blurted it out
She was NOT quiet Nor DISCREET as I heard her all the way in the opposite direction information that I revealed in confidentiality all the way up to the waiting room where she could be heard
It was only brought up because of the other appointment I have rebooked tomprrow and my reason for going to MCI was that one of the issues could not wait, which is why I was there
We only discussed it as she was bothered by the location details for the apt
Aside from her being rude, waving hand at me dismissively as was trying to explain why that appointment was booked at the same was loud and telling me to go to emergency when 811 already assessed me and said check in with a doctor within 24 hours and she tells me she would be sending her patient to ER or Urgent Care
Been There
Did that
Perhaps listening and not pushing pass details and emotionally upsetting someone already dealing with enough medically without proper care would help

Tomorrow I will talk to the other doctor and will share Dr. Chinyem Dzawanda response in which she told me to go to Emergency very dramatically
I told her I sought care as advised
She told me 811 was wrong
I Will Be Letting CPSA Decide

It was a mistake going to this place
I will be following up regarding the conduct of this doctor whom shared private information and complained about in the hallway...Additionally I will be seeking legal consult over this too
Doctors are ALL obligated to abide by a code of conduct
The appointment itself was terrible
This doctor is not somebody who I would go to unless I was absolutely desperate.. I am not sure she's capable based on today Bedside manner lacks couth to say the least and am being polite
AND That I could live with
Coming out behind her as she walked before me after my appointment sharing my private information in the hallway..
That I will not and I will be following up as advised to the Alberta College of Physicians.. Wherein I am pretty positive this doctor violated code ethics and as advised via 811 provided where to file the complaint

So if by chance, you need to go here Consider yourself fairly warned as I was here by other people in the comments and ignored it & suffered at my own peril
Or Maybe you will luck out

Get that some people have issues with the front staff, myself had no issues

They were actually very good so was the the nurse I saw except never corrected the error in my name
The Doctor was a 3 star
before exited the office
Her breaking my privacy in the hallway where she was agasp and complained loudly enough others could here waiting in the other doctor offices for their turn

The appointment was a abysmal

Got a prescription after saying I will get it from my other appointment tomorrow
With my name spelled wrong... Which I did advise the nurse of.... and the doctor.. And the Doctor's Response
Oh well it doesn't matter...
Funny because the pharmacy would like to beg to differ with her on that too
So would AHS and CPSA
If care is needed.. Just know efficiency and compassion will not be part of it here, Nor will professionalism or listening occur

With all the issues in our healthcare industry.. The Tax Paying People certainly don't deserve Doctors as such adding to the pile
Hope she course corrects
As today was not okay
In any way

Well Health 130th Avenue. Arrived as a walk-in at 11:30AM on Sept 18. Spoke to Eleanor asked she make an appointment for me for 12:30PM the same say. I arrived back at precisely 12:30PM and checked with Eleanor. I waited one hour and then attempted to speak with Eleanor. Another lady was at reception and rudely interrupted my question directed to Eleanor. Told me that walk-in appointments could take anywhere from 10 minutes to over an hour, This information would should be communicated upon arrival,
On a side note this rude lady was dressed as she was going to the beach open toed sandals, many tattoos and wearing a top that was less than supportive.
I left after that interaction.
Next day September 19 on my computer Well health sent me an email dated September 18 time 10:31AM with an appointment set for September 18 at 1:40PM.
As stated above my first interaction was at 11:30AM on September 18.
I called on September 19, and 25 requesting Katie call me. No communication received from Katie.
I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS CLINIC.
Superstore clinic at Seton is very professional.

The front desk staff was very friendly, helpful & accommodating to my needs.
There wasn’t a long wait, lots of parking. The doctor was helpful & efficient & I’m grateful they we’re open on a Saturday afternoon.
