I got a haircut here last week. It was really good, he sated really well. Just walking. No appointment needed, would return. But a little bit pricey compared to my home town red deer at $30 but good job wish thy sanitized there stuff between customers but besides that great job:)

Been going to Moe for years and taking my son since he was older enough to sit up. Service is always great and haircuts are always top shelf. Makes my little guy feel comfortable in the barber chair and he looks forward to going!!

To get this out of the way, the guy working on my hair is a nice guy. Friendly, personable, all the things. However, he did not listen to what I was asking for.
I had grown my hair out for over a year so that I could get a mohawk for a fun event I am hosting tomorrow. I showed him where I wanted the mohawk to reach to up the sides of my head (basically the width of the strip), and asked him to take the clippers to a 1 and shave up to that point. I specifically asked him not to do a fade.
He showed me a photo of a guy with NOT a mohawk and said this was what he wanted to do. I said no, that is not a mohawk. He kept showing me the photo, I said no again, but figured maybe he didn't understand my words... I asked if the side length of the guy's hair in the photo was what he was talking about. He said yes. I asked him specifically not to touch the top because I wanted to keep the length. Next thing you know, he slicks my hair back and cuts an inch off the top... now that he has started, there is no point stopping - my hair is still about 5 inches long so I figure I can work with that. Then he keeps fading the sides... something I specifically asked him not to do. I wanted a sharp line with the clippers at a 1 right up to the mohawk.
I asked him to stop because it wasn't what I wanted, and repeated that I didn't want a fade - that I wanted it shaved at a 1 right up to the strip... but he kept fading it on the sides, further and further into the 'hawk. I finally got fed up, told him it was not remotely what I wanted and just to shave the whole thing off because now it looks ridiculous. He would not. Instead, he said, 'bro, listen...' and I said, 'no. Shave it off.' He repeated, 'bro, just listen to me...' and again, I said, 'no, either shave it off or I will go home and do it myself.' He once more said, 'but listen, bro...' and I got up, took the bib off and left. As I was leaving, he said, 'bro, I showed you a picture, bro... you saw the picture.' I said, 'yes, and I told you that was NOT what I wanted.' I asked him what I owed him, and he said not to worry about it.
What I would suggest to this person is this: please hear what your customer is telling you. You had some vision of what you wanted my hair to be - and that was not what I asked for. This is likely one of the simplest haircuts out there, and could have been done in ten minutes (I know this because I have had it done innumerable times over the years). Yet you would not hear what I had to say, instead choosing to do your own thing... and now I have had to shave my head to erase what you did.
I wish you nothing but the best, sir - I just wish you could have heard what I was asking you for, instead of doing what you wanted to. I will not be back.

Came in around lunchtime, was a little busy but didn’t wait for for than 30 mins. I explained what I wanted and the barber, I think he was the main barber, gave me what I wanted but even better. High recommend YMM

The only place I will bring my 4 year old for a hair cut! After many failed attempts at other barber shops my son was afraid of getting his hair cut, took him here when he was 2.5 years old and had a wonderful experience! The team was so calm & extremely patient with him! 2 years later and we come back every month or two, he’s had cuts by all of the barbers and they are all wonderful! Best service in town!
