This was my first experience with orthotics due to knee pain after a traumatic ankle fracture. When I met Dean, I was impressed on how kind and informative he was. He took the time to explain my problem areas and why they were problem areas. He then explained the changes he would make to help improve my knee pain and what the progression would be like to get to my goal of running without any pain. Now I am walking and started running with my new orthotics without any pain. As per Dean’s recommendations, , it will be a slow progression and so far, it is going well!! After a very thorough and concise assessment, Dean explained that custom orthotics would correct my foot and knee mechanics. In less than a week, Dean built my custom orthotics, re-evaluated my condition and made the final adjustments to my new orthotics.

The orthotics have completely eliminated my foot pain and my knees feel perfectly fine after full shifts as a firefighter.

I required orthotics for a foot issue and York Foot Orthotics & Bracing was recommended to me. From the moment I had my first appointment, I was very impressed with Dr. Woodcock and his services. The fact that he has his own workshop, on site, to make the orthotics was really a bonus. Sending orthotics out for impressions and corrections takes way too long. This way, if I have any issues at all, Dr. Woodcock can correct them right on site. He gives such personal customer service, any time it is required. I would highly recommend Dr. Dean Woodcock.
