This review is specifically for the Community Clinic.

I been seeing the nurses at the community clinic every other day for wound care from Sept 17 2024 to Oct 26 2024. Each and every nurse I met during my time was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I also appreciated how willing the nurses were to answer all my questions, help me book future appointments as well as always being on time. I can't imagine how awful my scar would be if I hadn't seen these nurses.

Thank you for all you've done, all you do and all you will do.

Dr. Akinsemolu or Dr Akin as I like to call him, has been very attentive to my varied health issues. He is a great listener and takes the time to explain in a non rushed manner. He is approachable and understanding, and treats patients with respect from what I have seen and experienced. Appointments are always punctual and specialist referrals were amazingly quick! He asks that patients discuss one health issue per visit which keeps his schedule on time, but allows you to book future appointments sooner.

I've been going here since I was a child and basically raised here and had the same doctor the entire time. I've never had a problem with them but consistently now that I'm an adult and need to book my own appointments the receptionists never answer phones. The family doctor line is a 1/10 chance at best but walk in you just get transfered to a voicemail saying they're busy and it hangs up. I tried to leave a voicemail just to find times for my doctor and I got a call back almost 2 weeks later hardly remembering what I even phoned about. Doctors excellent. Reception needs overhaul.

Google maps says walk-in clinic open to 9 pm. But it’s 6 pm. Came at 9 am next day…line to the door literally nowhere else is there a walk in clinic. Took 5 hours to see a dr. Dr gave most basic screening and provided no solution.
Had to go emergency at Southlake because that’s where you find real doctors.

Came back again…cant through phones no callbacks.

Says they are open but no one is here.

I went in for an X-ray on Friday, October 25th at 4pm and the lady at the reception refused to accept me and said come back tomorrow between 8am to 2:30pm even though I had an urgent letter from the doctor. On Saturday, October 26th at 12pm I went back again. There was another lady at the reception who spoke very rudely to me and refused to accept me again because she said we wrote on the website that we could change the reception hours But the Time Paper behind the reception window said 2:30. I told her that another lady had told me to come in today , She said with a very
bad attitude that it had nothing to do with me and that you wanted to come in earlier. I asked to speak to the doctor or the supervisor or the manager of that department. She said they were on vacation. I asked for the supervisor's email address. She said I will not give you any information. I even asked for her name and she did not give me hers. I am really sorry for this complex that has employees with such disgusting behavior.

Dr. Yung is an amazing doctor. Other than that, the clinic is awful. Without a warning, the walkin is closed due to a "high volume", however, the lobby was empty and no patients came out of the offices in the next half an hour. I assume everyone went home as no one was present at the desk.

As well, there was no way to find out that the clinic was closed because the staff turned off the desk phone. When calling them, the system goes straight not even to a voice mail, but to an automated message that hangs up for you. I tried to reach them for few days, so I called while I was in the lobby and to no surprise no phone rang. Absolutely unacceptable.

If you can, avoid this walk in clinic and find one that doesn't have their phone off.

Website says the walk in clinic is open Sundays at 9… waited (along with about 6 other people) for 30 minutes and no one showed up. Called to confirm hours and the voicemail says they are open but busy with patients… what a joke. Clinic doctors have always been great but this is terrible especially since people who come to the clinic are in need of medical help. Just update your information is all that is needed.

Hands down has to be the worst clinic around. Dr Collins is very nice and knowledgeable but oh boy the walk in doctors are horrible and the staff are rude. Don't bother trying to call no one ever picks up the phone
