This review is about Anthony. Me and my now ex fiance had one session with him because we were having some difficulties regarding me being an exotic dancer. I felt like Anthony brought in a lot of irrelevant information and cast judgement on the industry saying that the clubs are involved with cartels and sex traffic girls when I know it's not the case in Calgary. And his words were "Ann if you want this relationship you would have to give it up. Are you willing to give up sex work to be with him?" Not an ounce of empathy or understanding or any effort to mitigate the conflict. I understand that there's a lot of stigma from general public but to hear that from a counselor was heartbreaking. There was a lot of his personal opinions and biases involved and caused the service provided to be incompetent.

My regular therapist Danielle is great tho.

I have been seeing Jeff Sturgeon for 5 years. Before him I had tried at least 10 other counsellors before I found the right fit.

He is warm, compassionate, intuitive, funny and completely accepting. I see him when I need a "tune-up" and it is always feels like no time has passed between visits. He has been an important part of my personal and emotional growth and can not recommend him enough.
