Not a great place to work as a welder.
they offer you a (bad)wage; but there is a lot that cuts into it. Crew is solid but there is definitely bad apples and theft.

Welders need gloves for safety. The company doesn't supply them and charge 22.20 for a pair.. furthermore PPE allowance is .25 cents an hour and basically it all goes to gloves... and make sure you redeem your allowances before you quit because the company will reject your earned ppe allowance. (making all our glove expenses cut directly into our wage)

Tools... huge list to supply... company supplies nothing tool wise besides a flashlight... and has again a .25 cent an hour allowance for tools. That allowance doesn't even cover theft - I had electrical cords, vice grips, and stopped a guy from stealing a clamp.

No laundry considerations or allowances; and no coveralls. clothes go home covered in metal shards and its not just as easy as throwing it in the wash. its a time and money cost outside of working hours.

Cheap company; nowhere to grow, lacking a culture of "care" towards employees. Stay away; not a place to get trapped.

Great friendly and helpful staff! My car broke down on the side of the road and one of the employees stopped after his shift to help me out and take a look. Even went back to the shop and grabbed his work truck and tools to take a look.
