Are you looking for a place for your love ones where they clearly don’t care then this place is for you.!
Are you looking for staff that do not engage with your love ones again this place is for you.’ Or how about where no music is played for the dementia patients? Which everyone knows is the best therapy ? Well that’s why you put them here because they don’t care what is good for the ltc patients!
Maybe the staff is not recognized for their capabilities so they gave up caring! Because the head of the organization don’t care.!

Why, because they follow a strict routine and integrity and respect won’t come in effect for you the family who put them there! So if you don’t care this place is for you and if you love them don’t put them here.

We have been moving senior citizens in and out of Retirement Communities in Durham region, Ontario. Found this place very decent. Location is nice.

The staff and management were very nice! The charge nurse, Serena, Marina and others did an amazing job, most Psw’s were also very warm and helpful. Juliana in management was an amazing person! Carly and Dulcie, the event coordinator were amazing as well, treated my mother with respect and always included her in all activities! If it wasn’t for the residents I would have never moved my mother to another nursing home!

I cannot say enough good things about Bloomington Cove. My father just recently passed after spending 2-1/2 years there. He was definitely a challenge for them, especially during COVID. The staff were simply amazing. They were in constant contact with our family to advise if any issues arose, and there were many due to his Lewy Body Dementia. They also would share happy stories and pictures of him that we missed when we were not there. But in the final days of his life, the way ALL the staff cared for him and all of our family as we were all there day and night around the clock was above and beyond. The nurses, PSW's, and administrative staff where with us constantly to help try to make his last days as painless and comforting as possible. They all new my Dad very well and personally expressed their sadness to our family. They really did care about him and it showed. They took care of him in the final stages of his life in a way that we could not. For that commitment and compassion, we will be forever grateful.

My mom has been a resident of Bloomington Cove Country house since February 2020. I read some of the older reviews and felt I had to write this especially after the crisis of dealing with COVID-19😷. This facility and their staff have been outstanding at their protocols. I have quickly learned their concern for residents and family members are number 1. Communication with caregivers like myself have been outstanding.

To add about day to day care, I am not going to do this total justice as I will be missing names here as I have not got to know everyone yet due to COVID restrictions. The staff I know I’m Country house are simply outstanding HEROs. The care they show for my mom is so much better than I can provide. I recall being quite scared about the thought of having my mom placed in a long term care facility. I felt like most that I was abandoning her. Boy was I wrong. She has never been safer and in such great hands.

The staff here are second to none. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for providing excellent care. My mom has a new family in all of you. Everyone from the nurses like Nita, Carlos, Pascal and Adrianne; PSWs (too many to name and I don’t want to forget anyone) are a Godsend. All the generous management staff like Vernon and Amber, you have made the transition easy and provided excellent communication for me. To Vivian who has been the absolute kindest human always welcoming us and keeping us posted. Finally to all the other staff I am missing such as programme coordinators, cleaning and cooking staff as well as greeters at the front door during this crazy time of the pandemic, thank you so much for helping keeping the place running smoothly.

I would only recommend to Sienna corporate to continue to support the staff at Bloomington Cove as they are a lifeline for our loved ones. See that your star rating has been at 3 and I think that needs to be improved as you have been true superstars!!👍👍

If I could give it a 0 I would
-disgusting staff treatment
-Managers don’t even know their own residents
-toxic environment and the managers act like children
- the rat was there for 4 months in the dining room where the resident eat
-the ceilings broke and a residents room was leaking from the ceiling

Their care to detail and the amazing willness to assist the wishes of the residents is beyond. To uphold the strictest of care for each and every patient...and to preserve that with love....I want to thank you all from the bottom of my ❤. Its been since Valentines day since we last had the pleasure of my sister's company. They locked down before Corv-19 in mid February....but because of this strict protocol...we still have our loved ones. Thank you for you service. Know that I pray blessings for all in service care!!!

I've been a tradesman servicing this site for a few years now and I must say the management staff is great. They always put the residents first. They do a great job handling situations and are very organized. They're always communicating through meetings so everyone is on the same page. I saw the bad reviews and felt compelled to leave a review as I don't feel the <3 star rating is accurate. Keep up the good work management
