I had a fantastic experience at this general store. The service is outstanding, and the selection of products is impressive. Marie, in particular, provides the best customer experience ever. She is incredibly helpful, friendly, and attentive. Marie goes above and beyond to ensure that every customer finds exactly what they need. Her knowledge of the store's inventory is remarkable, and she always offers great recommendations. Marie's dedication to excellent customer service truly sets this store apart. I highly recommend this store for its superb service and great variety of products.

I haven't been in store since Spring 2019 - The father is horrible - he yelled and came at me with his broom during Covid - I had passed an imaginary line because I was more than 3 feet away. Marie apologises but he continues saying something loudly at me. The store is dirty (was and is per those who still frequent the store), the mother has trouble giving you correct change - several times their security cameras protected me - I got to the point I would just say check your cameras and then I'd get change at next visit - the son dreams of another life - poor Marie is the only positive of store - otherwise service poor. In the right hands this store would thrive - Mike is definitely reducing their bottom line - I'm not the only one refusing to go in store. I've lived in Constance Bay 30 yrs and regularly gave General Store my business - I drove to Kanata Friday rather than go in store.

Absolutely horrific on the customer service front. Denied taking legal tender from me even though just the corner was missing and both serial numbers were present on the bill. I worked for a bank for 20 years and know for fact that they take bills in if it has both serial numbers. I expressed this, they still refused so I switched out the bill and they still refused bc I informed them it was illegal to refuse legal tender. How they stay in business is beyond me. This is the third horrible experience I have had there. The man leaves me with the opinion he beats his wife

The owner Michael is completely uneducated In the customer service field. His daughter Marie is always lovely! Whenever I go in there and see she is not there I turn around because I know my shopping experience wouldn’t be any good. This man yells at you, points at you, and has absolutely zero manners as if he is god.
I’ve seen him second hand yelling and treating customers poorly..
I’ve experienced first hand him yelling at me , he throws my change at me…
Asked for my ID when purchasing smokes… then continued to insult my appearance…
completely unacceptable and if it wasn’t for his amazing daughter who is always so loving and friendly… I would probably make it so he wasn’t working there. Because of how many people he makes uncomfortable and unwelcome in his store.

The store is conveniently located and well stocked with all the essentials. We were staying at a cottage and were able to get the few items we forgot right before they closed on a Sunday night. The kids enjoyed picking out their favourite treats too.
