I have had a pretty poor experience here with a doctor over the past year and a half. I feel like I am talking to a wall when I speak to her. Whilst explaining that I have experienced iatrogenic damage from a certain kind of prescription pill, one of her suggestions was to try using a similar one.

It has been a waste of time and I have received no real help let alone care for my circumstances or condition. This is the all too common story for health care in 2024.

It is a fight for your doctor to believe you let alone help you.

I seriously can not say enough positivity on how great this whole team is. First and foremost I have Doctor Rockwell as my family physician and there are not enough words to describe how wonderful, thorough, knowledgeable, and great that she is. She is an old school professional with todays knowledge and definitely knows her stuff, but if she doesn’t know something she will send to the right places to find it out. She has gone above and beyond the call of duty, many times. She truly is the best doctor I have ever had.
Her Assistant Nicole is just as great and she is there for every single thing needed.They are the
‘A’ team for sure.
Now then the reception desk staff. Hmm what can I say… never have I had such wonderful thorough service. They know their stuff as well and go more than out of their way for the patients. And believe me they have several times gone above and beyond to help me with situations that they have nothing to do with. They are always informative, pleasant and again, they know their stuff.
Then there is the pharmacy and lab. Again just a wonderful team where you feel the customer/patient matters. Thank you Doctor Rockwell, Nicole and to all of the Rapids family Health Team.

Not a very good team they have there. Wait times are crazy. You get bounced around A LOT between councillors, seems once you have 3 visits with one, you are being switched to another. There was an excellent lady there, who always put in the time and work...sadly she left, when she did, so did I. The rest were incomparable, I gathered the impression they were there just for the paycheck (trust me I got bounced around plenty). I would recommend going elsewhere but that's my opinion.

I had very positive experience with Elizabeth Soden. She helped with my nutritional requirements by giving me advice in a way that I was able to understand, as well written follow up notes.

I have had so much help here and all for free! The staff are helpful, knowlegable. I have had help from dietitians, bone health specialists, Fibromyalgia referrals through the Canadian Arthritis Society, referrals to other health care professionals, cooking classes, pscho-therapy, etc.
Since coming here I feel so much better about my health issues and positive because of the education I have been getting here.
I highly recommend Rapids Family Health. My experiences here have been 109% positive and tremendously helpful regarding my overall health and well-being.

This place was amazing to me when I got my COVID shot there. After I got it they lead me to a activity room and there was a movie playing I got to put my name on a hall of fame then I got a certificate and filled it in they also gave me a treat and a cool aid then when my time was up we left. So they were very helpful!

Gave me a 30 day run around and lied to my face multiple times. canceled my appointment 3 hours beforehand and refused to help me a second time. Never have I ever seen a ruder office. Thanks for the 30+ days of pain waiting on your lies. Avoid this place if you value your health.
