Don’t bother trying to go here for a walk-in appointment. Not sure why they are still advertised as a “walk-in clinic”. Not the first time I’ve been turned away as they have too many bookings. I don’t have a family doctor as they retired last minute and needed a refill on medications I take daily and rely on. They wouldn’t see me or prescribe me my medications as “they don’t know me” and “don’t have time to assess me”. Not sure what they want me to do - go to the emerg? As an ICU RN, I totally understand why our emerg departments are full of people who shouldn’t be there - it’s because we have a family doctor shortage and because walk in clinics like this one won’t do their job.
However, I LOVE the pharmacy. I have been going there for the years and the main pharmacist is knowledgeable, helpful, and compassionate. I would recommend going there for your pharmacy needs 100%.

I recently visited to pick up my medicine and was taken aback by the tipping option on the credit card machine. In a time when many are struggling financially due to the ongoing recession, it feels inappropriate to pressure customers into tipping for a service that should be standard. Healthcare should be accessible and affordable, and adding a tipping option only adds to the burden. I left feeling frustrated and disappointed.

I am extremely disappointed with the service I received at this doctor’s office. Despite their posted closing time of 5:30 PM, I arrived at 5:00 PM, after driving 20 minutes in heavy traffic, only to be told that the doctor was no longer seeing patients for the day. I just needed a quick prescription refill, something that would have taken two minutes, but the receptionist was incredibly rude and unhelpful. She flat-out refused to let me speak to the doctor and showed no consideration for the inconvenience I had gone through to get there. If you’re going to advertise your hours until 5:30 PM, you should honor them or at least treat your patients with some basic courtesy. I won’t be returning to this office and cannot recommend it to others.

I have been seeing Dr Haroon for about 3 years.
She is so dedicated , very knowledgeable, and is an amazing Dr . Listens to me and advises on my needs. She makes you feel very comfortable.
I moved from Vaughan to Toronto and I am still seeing her as my Dr.
So Happy

Dr.Haroon is an excellent family doctor. She answers any questions that you may have about your health. I never feel rushed in my appointments with her. The front staff are great and always able to squeeze me in for a last minute appointment. Also the convience of having the pharmacy there makes its a quick one stop shop.

I suffer from a lot of skin tags around the neck. I had my first skin tag removal treatment at Venice medical. I am so happy with the results. The skin tag spots are healing so quickly. I was also so happy with the treatment. She was so patient with me and explained step by step. It didn’t hurt at all which was amazing!! I’m looking forward to having my 2nd treatment done this Saturday and get more skin tags removed. Highly recommend!! 🥰🥰

the one star is for the lovely, kind, helpful receptionist who thankfully pointed me in the direction of a different doctor before i had the displeasure of meeting mrs. haroon.

mrs. haroon denied me healthcare based on the fact that i had an out of province health card, which unless you’re from quebec, does not matter. we were also told that she chooses to see her patients before anyone else at the walk in, which also isn’t ethical. my dad is a doctor in a different province and unfortunately for mrs. haroon, i am not ignorant on how these things work.

the other clinic that we went to was packed, probably because this clinic refuses to see anybody and tells people to go somewhere else (good idea, based on other peoples’ reviews about this “doctor”). we went to a third clinic after that, who immediately took me in without questioning my health card. mrs. haroon, that’s how that works in canada by the way, perhaps you should read up on our healthcare laws.

thank you again to the great receptionist who made the experience less uncomfortable. i hope mrs. haroon had a very relaxing morning since she had no patients to care for. don’t bother leaving a weird passive aggressive response to this, as i certainly will not be coming back.

edit: if it was a medical emergency, why would i be going to a walk in clinic? common sense is not being used here. very unprofessional and ignorant response, your practice should be investigated. very strange behaviour.
