I give 10 stars. I love this spa I recommend it to everyone. They are comparably affordable and you are treated first class.
I am a regular Saturday client at the spa for a relaxation massage. The atmosphere is so peaceful and very pleasant. It’s always clean and smells so good the eucalyptus especially in the steam room.

They will supply you with sandals and a robe and there are personal lockers. Also they have other personal products if you needed to have for a shower or disposable underwear if wanted for your massage.
There’s the lounge where you can sit in your robe and have a coffee or tea while waiting for your appointment or between appointments if you have a package.

The Amba crew are so polite and friendly, they all are very welcoming and kind.
I recommend the relaxation massage, it’s so therapeutic and the ambiance is always welcoming and peaceful.
It’s nice to enjoy a long steam in the steam room after my massage and sometimes before my massage if I arrive early enough to have it.

My therapist is Ana and I look forward to our Saturday sessions she gives me an amazing massage. And we always have fun catching up on conversation. I very much enjoy every Saturday I am there. They are my spa family.
I wish that anyone looking for a great place to go and feel welcomed would consider Amba Health and Beauty Spa. 💖

We went to the spa this past weekend. 4 girls on a getaway.. we have been going to the deerhurst and spa for over 20 years and I think our last visit will be our last one ever. The massages felt rushed and not overly professional… at one point I was being jiggled! Never had that before.. there was like some friction thing on my back which was also weird! For $175 dollars!!!! I’m not one to leave a bad review but legit I felt like he had somewhere else to be and had no interest in what he was doing.. I know this because I own a salon and I know how services are supposed to be.
Also at $175 for a 50 minute massage they could invest some of that back into the spa it’s self.. the steam room has bubbles on the walls. It looks so tired and run down.. the robes I’m pretty sure are the same ones from 20 years ago, ratty and worn. So disappointing to when you wait all year for a girls getaway and the main thing event “ the spa day” was the worst part of the trip but almost the most expensive part.
Also when we were dressed and leaving no one was at the cash register for over 10 minutes ! There was a couple getting a manicure beside the cash and the staff there couldn’t even be bother to try to get someone to come cash us out.
Such crappy customer service for what’s supposed to be a high quality spa

My partner and I decided to leave camping at Arrowhead a day early because the bugs were SO bad, and booked some time at this spa instead and I have 0 regrets! Agnes, the Spa manager was able to accommodate us with very last minute bookings and although we weren’t able to get massages on the same day, we were able to use the steam & tea rooms together. I just left my relaxing appointment with Shannon Z who was incredibly personable and kind and took great care of my body despite it being riddled with bug bites🤣 highly recommend!

I had a wonderful body wrap and express facial with Manon. She was very professional and experienced. She had wonderful recommendations and was extremely pleasant. Anna at the front desk was courteous and very accommodating! Would highly recommend.

If this was the first time I received a massage I would never go again. The change rooms and steam room feel tired and need some TLC. The massage was the worst I’ve ever had. The RMT spent more time rubbing oil than working out knots. It seemed he was almost scared to touch me. My foot massage felt like a feather duster brushing my feet and the overall massage I was shaken more than a martini. I left feeling very awkward and sad instead of relaxed and rejuvenated. It was so bad I almost asked to leave in the middle of the massage.

I was just at amba on the weekend, we had the couples massage, dont waste your money, my massage was subpar, I had to ask her to slow down, it felt like a race, I had to ask to have my feet included when she said the massage was done. It was NOT RELAXING. The rapid rubbing up and down my legs and arms only felt hot from the friction. Manon, you really need to take a course on massage, i truely believe she had no clue what she was doing.I was totally let down by this very expensive couples massage of 507.00, the reception took off 50.00 when I told her how horrible the massage was.
On the other hand, I also had a facial by a girl named Allison, she was AMAZING!!

I wouldn’t recommend this spa. My partner and me did a couple’s massage and the massage was below average. Even after requesting for a bit more pressure, they didn’t fulfil the request. And my partner’s RMT was making loud noises with the chair which made me not relax at all. I have had better massages. Additionally, the spa room was really small and the steam rooms and the rest of the spa need fixing and upgrades. Both my partner and me were disappointed and it is not worth the price. For a spa that is in a bit pricey resort, I’d expect more.

The relaxation massage was very nice and staff were very friendly. However, the men’s change room, though clean and tidy, there were concerns here: the steam room produced little steam and little to no heat, the toilet didn’t flush, the urinal produced almost no water to evacuate urine, and the shower (one on the right) did not drain at all. I voiced my concern with the reception and they called maintenance immediately. When maintenance arrived he stated to staff that “this isn’t an emergency”; how toilets that don’t flush, urinals that don’t work properly, and showers that don’t drain are not emergency issues is beyond me.
