The secretary was very condescending in her tone and quite rude, not a welcoming atmosphere, Highly recommend you fire her. Its quite obvious im not the only one here that feels the same. Gave the benifit of the doubt regardless of other negative reviews and i regret doing so.

The phone system is horrible and they can never help, they also say nothing is on my record. The front desk lady in the walk in clinic is unbelievably rude she doesn’t look at you when you speak to her and if you ask her something she doesn’t respond and just continues with her questions. Dr Ashraf is great at his job but the people below him need more training. This isn’t the first time back when covid was going me on and the mask where lifted my mother and I came in and we didn’t have a mask the walk in clinic lady said that we have to leave and get a mask so we did and when we came back she was handing them out to other patients, so why couldn’t she give us some. This is just honestly ridiculous at this point it happens every time we come in she’s is very unpleasant and we over all did not have a good visit.

Horrible practice with poor staff that need to be trained on how to deal with people and be less condescending to their clients.

I was removed from the roster of Dr. Jesmin for being upset with their misdiagnosis of a separated rib. I had a fall and was in excruciating pain, so I booked an appointment to see Dr. Jesmin. She would not personally see me claiming Covid concerns so I went to get an X-Ray. The X-Ray came back and I was told that there was nothing wrong with my ribs and to rest and apply ice. After a couple of days of excruciating pain I decided to see an osteopath. Within 2 minutes they were able to find the injured rib and immediately treat it my “popping” it back in place.

With my frustration I called the office letting them know what happened and that I was very disappointed to the point that I may have to find another family doctor. Without finalizing anything or receiving a letter, email or call I was removed from the roster of clients leaving me with no family doctor at all! I tend to be an extremely reasonable person but this is ridiculous beyond belief.

Also they need to hire a new person for front reception, the lady working in that position is nasty to deal with. And it wasn’t just me, she was very rude to the people ahead of me as well.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRACTICE.

The only doctors worthy of respect in this building are Dr Patel and Dr Ashraf it’s unfortunate that they are not family doctors.

They both work hard, tiredly all day with patient after patient because they are the best ones. Forever grateful I came across these two. They genuinely do listen to patients concerns. And are not nasty, dismissive, disrespectful, and rude like so many walk in clinicians are!!

Dr Patel is amazing. I never have to wait more than 15 minutes to see him, and he is very caring and will order the necessary tests to find the cause of the problem without hesitation! I'm glad I was fortunate enough to be accepted as one of his patients. He will even send you directly downstairs to the x-ray clinic to get imaged if needed in order to obtain results immediately. It is by far the most convenient family doctors office that I know of. Family doctors, clinic (which is open on Sundays!), pharmacy, imaging diagnostics, etc. all under one roof! I have never had an issue with the reception workers. The office is always clean. I have no complaints about Medica One.

I love my doctor, Dr Patel. He's very kind and even when busy I don't feel rushed like I have with other doctors. I highly recommend him. I've had to be a little persistent at times to get medication I believe I need... Which tells me he isn't just pushing drugs to get people out the door. I swear some doctors are just in it for the money. Not Dr Patel as far as I can tell. He really seems to care.

Now for the negatives. Some of the walk-in clinic receptionists can be so abrasive and ignorant. Not all. There's at least one that is kind and helpful.

I was referred to the allergy specialist in the building and I give him 0 stars. Dr Jane. I've never met him, but he's missed 3 of my virtual appointments being over 2 hours late to call me and had me reschedule instead of just having our appointment.
Scheduling with his office is next to impossible. It's just a constant game of phone tag. I literally gave up and demanded a new referral elsewhere. I would highly advise avoiding Dr Jane, however that's your call as I hear he's actually quite good as an allergist... If you don't mind the hassle it takes to get an appointment. It could also be just due to covid-19. He could be over booked because so many people having breathing issues or concerns due to covid... But I can't say for sure.

There are some very frustrating things about this office that I just can’t get past. The triage nurses are often rude and ignorant. Their doctors have difficult hours of operation. If you have something you’d like to be seen for quickly, there is no way to make an appointment with thin a reasonable time because they often book for weeks in advance. They don’t answer phones during hours that are convenient for making appointments. Their telephone staff stop taking calls at noon on Fridays, and they close their phone lines during their lunch hour. They threaten to discontinue service to patience who chose to use walk-in clinics other than their own. This is all very inconvenient and difficult to work with, and a result of people being overworked, or in the business not having enough money to run itself with reasonable policies. This is a perfect example of health care in Canada: you get what you pay for. I intend to find a new doctor, because this is having a negative effect on my access to health care.

Walk-in clinic experience today was horrible!!
My daughter needed refill for puffers and I wanted her to see the doctor for a non consistent cough(no fever)
( pending appointments for allergist & ENT specialist as she is consistently congested)

Their protocol states for us to wait in the car and the doctor will call, clear her and then see her( 1hr wait)
Same scenario happened a few months ago, same clinic same doctor!!

I refused this, I sat in the hallway as per the administration staff stated my daughter needed a rapid test to be seen and I could not wait in the waiting room for the safety of her and other ppl

I declined the test and waited in the hallway
The administration staff stated I should go to another clinic which I stated no this is my physicians walk in clinic Ill wait to see the walk-in doctor you cannot refuse to see me

My mask and my daughters masks were on!! FYI!!
Never did I raise my voice or presume being a threat!!

I do not appreciate how I was treated.

I am in the healthcare profession worked front lines during COVID!!!!!!

I KNOW protocol regarding physicians are required to see patients and not to be degraded as I was today

People lie and can say they did the rapid test and still be seen by the doctor or even are allowed to sit in the waiting room

Also I’m not just going to walk around if I or my daughter had COVID
I’m fully aware there is no remedy for COVID if or when visiting a doctor or walk in clinic

To the administrative staff and clinical staff working Sunday June 12 2022 at the walk-in clinic both females take a educational class/course on how to not degrade and shun human beings protocol or not!!
