Bought a shirt and purse for well over $100+. When I got home the back of the shirt collar wasn't sewn and the was a large gap I had to sew myself.

The purse began to fall apart in the front and got worse and worse (rips appearing all over the front). It was past their "7 day exchange policy." I live out of town but when I finally returned to Paris, ON, I took the purse back to show them.

I told the clerk I didn't expect to return it but wanted to show it to her so she could share it with their supplier. She wouldn't even look at it but then said they carry lots of products from that supplier. How would she know that if she didn't see it? She argued with me about the exchange date and said if I have called within a month the owner "might" have allowed me to exchange it.

A simple apology would have been nice and I told her this. She insisted she did say she was sorry but my partner and I never heard her say it. Instead she wished us a "nice trip home."

I certainly won't return again.

Bought a purse from this store a month ago. I used it for 2 weeks and it started to fall apart at the seams. I was told it could not be exchanged. I was in last week and purchased a dress off the sales rack. I tried it on quickly because another customer was waiting. I purchased the dress and when I got home and tried it on, I realized it didn't fit well. I dug the receipt out from my purse and noticed that it was stamped in black on the front "Exchange only within 7 days, No Exch on Sale" (I assumed that meant sale items). There was a small red stamp on the back "All Sales Final". When I purchased the dress the sales clerk took the time to put 2 stamps on the receipt but did not take the time to mention that all sales were final before ringing in the purchase. I realize that I should have looked at the receipt. Even if I did look at it after it was given to me, it would have been too late because the purchase was already made. I also should have asked about their exchange/return policy but I didn't. Having said that, any time I have purchased an item at another store that can not be returned or exchanged, the sales clerk brings it to my attention before ringing the item in. A reputable business that provides a good service would want their customers to understand this policy. I did call to see if I could exchange it for another item on the sales rack and was told no as all sales are final. Basically, they don't really care about their customers or the quality of the products they sell. They just want your money. Not the best service.... I will not be back.

LT .... I don't normally comment back but your response was incorrect. As you will see from the photos I have posted of the tag.... it does not indicate final sale on it. Your sales clerk did not mention the policy on sales items to me at all. Although I often do ask what the return/exchange policy is when I purchase an item, I was somewhat distracted by the rudeness of your sales clerk and looked to my friend standing nearby to see if she was noticing as well.... which she did. So, I have not idea where you sign is but it was not directly in front of me. I see from other reviews, that rudeness seems to be a common complaint so I 'm sure you are not surprised by this.

I really love the quality and the garments that I have bought at Suzanne's but I cringe everytime I go in there and brace myself for the judgment and rudeness I receive for the staff. Looks like I am not the only one. I have several people who have commented on my beautiful purse and when I tell them where I got it they all tell me that they have had the same experience with the sales staff. So if you have had this experience, just know you are not imagining it and you are not the only one. The sales staff should be delighted by every person that walks in the door because we are the ones supporting a local store and helping them keep their job. There is no need for snide or demeaning comments or looks. And to the owner, you don't need to tell me it doesn't exist. I am placing this review to help you realize that there is a customer service problem in your store that keeps business away.

Wow. Great shop. Well stocked, great selections for all ages, with very pleasant staff. This is one stop shopping for the holidays for ladies. I have my shopping list ready for my husband. Easy access. Street parking.
