Please hire more Doctors and Physicians! Its not acceptable for patients to wait minimum of 8 hrs to 16 hrs just to be seen 5 mins by the doctor.! Ive witnessed people waiting for hours and in so much pain but it falls on deaf ears which is really heartbreaking! this is not how free health care works! The government should step up and give more funding to all medical field and give canadians the proper diagnosis and treatment of the emergency they are in!!!ASAP!!!!

Dear Americans,

Please save yourself the headache of trying to travel to Canada, especially to moncton in new brunswick. I mean, it's ridiculous when you're in pain and can barely move the emergency room will make you wait up to 14 to 15 hours and for them that's normal. What happened to human rights? If you're short-staffed, hire or train more people to become doctors and nurses. Human life is important, the person running this hospital needs to be replaced before he gets bad karma. I'm really disappointed.

Went in this evening for my oldest and had to bring my 4 littles aged 5-2 as well....

Other than sitting and waiting from 7pm-1am in what felt like an empty ER, the nurses and staff were wonderful. All were very friendly with my children, gave them popsicles and put on the children channels.

When my oldest was in pain to the point of uncontrollable crying, the staff noticed and got her seen by a nurse for a check up and pain medication. She was able to finally rest without pain.

Around 12 am one of the nurses even made me a coffee which I appreciated immensely.

The doctor was gentle, kind and noticed my daughter had an infection immediately.

The evening could have been a lot worse, had the nurses/staff/dr not been the amazing people they are.

Worst hospital in Moncton and in Canada. For 3years old, with extreme pain and 16 hours of waiting in emergency room.
On top of that, After 16hrs of waiting, you will not get proper Diagnosis and treatment.

Awful experience. I spent 14 hours of my life waiting for medical attention but couldn't wait anymore and left. Even though my symptoms didn''t seem life-threatening I was in so much pain and they had zero interest in providing any help. Another woman was in noticeable pain and distress, crying, and no one in the staff went to check on her. Another old man with really low blood pressure and chest pain had been waiting for almost 10 hours. Most of people left around the 9 or 10 hour of waiting.
I just went to the ER because they sent me there for a walk-in clinic, but got no help at all. Abd whenever I asked about how much time I'd have to keep waiting they just said "we only have 1 doctor, we can't tell how long".
Sadly I can attest that what the others reviews say, is true. Healthcare here is worse than in 3rd world countries.

The Triage and registration services work fine but the rest of the department is broken. Waited over 6 hours hoping to get my hand stitched and just watched the amount of patients to be seen grow. I had received a tetanus shot in triage so I informed the staff I was leaving.

absolutely disgraceful wait times and some of the male nurses can be quite condescending

(April 30 2024) Guys I did it! I stayed 19 HOURS in the ER! From 5pm to 12pm the next day! I had a rock stuck in my eye, soo much discomfort. I give the doctor 5 stars for helping me, took him 20 seconds. I wasn’t the only one who waited that long, there were about 5 ppl who made it, the rest clocked out after 10 hours, they couldn’t take how crazy this is…… 19 hours let’s goooo!!
