Not going to lie someone the work customer service sucks. I called because I found a post on Facebook about a white dog that could have been my friends dog that was a free roam dog that has gone missing. She answered the phone and started off with saying no we don’t have any strays then I said I thought u had a white stray. She said yes we do and I asked if the dog had a collar on and she said no but in the picture it was clear she had some sort of collar on. Definitely won’t ever be calling this place again. Her attitude was not necessarily positive as you work expect from an animal shelter that has the slogan little shelter big hearts. So now I don’t know if that’s his dog or not so thanks a lot LA animal shelter

Great place to visit, the kitties definitely appreciate the company, and the staff is always very friendly and helpful. They really know their animals and can give you recommendations on one that may fit your family the best. Highly recommend if you're looking to adopt a furry family member, or even just to volunteer.

Drove all the way from Elmsdale to adopt my Bianca yesterday and she was well worth the trip. We love her already! Such a sweet, gentle natured people loving kitty.

I adopted 2 furrr babies and I love them to death!!! I've had a wild time integrating them with my 2 orher furrr babies!😂😂😂 it's hilarious to see them all together waiting for food in the kitchen!! 8 eyes on me 👀👀👀👀 . Definitely will adopt again from them. Here's Moose/Burt and Odin/Pineapple.

Current management is very rude rhere hours are terrible and they are notorious for not giving people animals thst should I would agree there’s some people who shouldn’t but they will leave a animal in foster care so that they can have it as a pet and not have to pay the veterinary bills and food they also claim they are non profit but manager is paid 25$ a hr and so is the director they are a little pushy if you don’t agree with something they say
