I gave birth to my second child with these midwifes. I was determined to find a set of midwifes I knew would know how to support a physiological birth. And not coerce me into something I didn't want. They quickly sized me up and offered the best care they could for my request. Little did I know I would have a rare birth of a face presentation instead of crown. Monica was very skilled in handling the birth and even my husband felt at ease with the knowledge she offered before doing anything. 4 month later I sit her nursing my baby so profoundly grateful to a midwife who skillfully supported my birth that could have easily ended in a cesarean. Midwifes of East Earie are the type of Midwifes I want to be someday. Knowledgeable kind always quick to listen and offer sound advice. Becoming a lactation consultant made me see how flawed the system is. But these midwifes see thru alot of it too. Recommend them 💯

I was hesitant about using a midwife with my first child bc we had been through so many fertility treatments and I was attached to my doctor but he had stopped delivering.

When I met the Midwives of East Erie I instantly knew a midwife was perfect for me. They have delivered 4 of my children and we are all set for them to deliver #5 in August of 2019.

I would not take this pregnancy, labour, delivery and post partum journey without the Midwives of East Erie. They are supportive, flexible, encouraging, loving, gentle, knowledgeable, expertly skilled and an amazing group of women. It made each of our birth experiences so much more positive because we had a growing relationship and I knew who would be with me as I gave birth.
