As a family, we have been dealing with severe health issues affecting our daughter. We are so glad that a friend recommended we drive from Hamilton to Simcoe to see Dr Diana!

The past 8 years have been beyond stressful, as we have tried to get answers from family doctors, specialists, emergency room staff, and other naturopaths. We have tried everything that everyone recommended, only to have mediocre results, at best - and terrible side effects on the worst days. We have found ourselves railing against the attitudes of medical professionals many times, as they are quick to assume hypochondria or mental issues if they can't figure it out in a time frame they think is reasonable. The frustration of being minimized and sent home to suffer some more has been almost as bad as the disease.

By the time she saw Dr Diana, our daughter had lost 35 pounds in 6 weeks from incessant vomiting multiple times a day, searing abdominal pain that prevented her from eating for weeks, had experienced terrifying arrhythmias and fainting, was ridiculously weak, and completely demoralized. She had been sent home from ER with a shrug of the shoulders and a "diagnosis" of a "stomach bug."

Dr Diana was not only kind and compassionate, he was interested in getting to the root of the problem. On more than one visit, he spent more time than had been allotted. At the beginning, he provided lots of advice and guidance, did NOT sell her any supplements or anything on the first visit - only advised gentle changes to settle the chaotic symptoms, and did accupressure to relieve some discomfort. He enlisted the help of a nurse-practitioner who was able to access medical records, read the pattern of blood work going back a number of years, and figure out that we were witnessing a crisis caused by Graves disease, a disorder that the entire medical world knows of, but no one else looked for.

We are now, finally, seeing improvement. The pain is under control most days, her energy is increasing slowly, and she has even been able to return to work part time. The best part is that she is finally able to look after her 6-year-old son again.

Without the incredible support and skill that Dr. Diana offered, who knows where we would find ourselves? We will be forever grateful, and we will continue to see this wonderful doctor until her health is optimized, and she is feeling like herself again. We have all the confidence in the world that we have found the person who can help us get there.

Do not go here. He is very inconsiderate to your time and to your feelings; doesn't seem to care very much at all. Secretaries are very unprofessional and rude (except for one). Had to carry a urine sample from the public washroom and back, incredibly unprofessional. He rushes you in and out and does all of these tests and doesn't seem to remember your symptoms. He pretends he is writing everything down and yet every time I go back he forgets everything. Makes you do enough tests to cause you to go bankrupt (as someone else mentions, which is true). Nothing he prescribed worked or even helped my issues. I switched to Dr. Laura Brass and she is incredible. I would recommend her if you're seriously thinking of going to a naturopath. I have a lot more to say about MNHC but I will leave it at - DON'T GO THERE!
