Me and my sister both came in to get our nails done nd at first the lady’s seemed nice and told us they could do the things we asked but my sister had to change up her designs from her picture. She retried 3 times getting mad when we sat there for 4 hours n my sister still left with unfinished nails one side even being with a matte top coat and the other clear top coat , I however got my nails finished but got gel and my flowers are just wonky they can’t do simple designs and both are nails are bumpy and uneven were very much upset as we ended up paying 140 dollars when my sister left unfinished and uhappy and charged her for a full set when she got her nails filled over all bad experience I would not recommend I included both mine and my sister pictures with her inspo photo it’s far from what she wants and she asked for ombré which this is far from the women in training did better then the women with experience , the lady’s husband was also quite disrespectful I had asked for square and the lady cut mine to short and made them look like duck nails I feel as though we should be reimbursed as my sisters is pregnant and had to have her nails redone 3 times because she told her she could do it and could not after she explained if she can’t do the design she’ll do something simple my sister changed her design to make it easier for her and she still messed up the ombré , DO NO RECOMMEND

I was in last week to get my nails done for my engagement photos & I’m so sad that I didn’t listen to my gut and go elsewhere.

I got a full bio gel set and honestly, the shape overall was decent - a little thick/wavy, and thumb nails are entirely different lengths, but nothing I couldn’t live with! Unfortunately I had asked for light ombré French tips (and showed a reference photo) and what I received was so disappointing. The polish is uneven, lumpy, has bubbles in it making it rough & the “ombré” is so splotchy, and angled it’s crazy. For $100 and based on their website photos I thought I’d end up with something decent, but I was stuck scrambling to get these nails fixed elsewhere last minute. Please don’t be like me!

Ps. I don’t want to paint the entire staff with this review. I like to give benefit of the doubt and assume some of the nail techs are more advanced than others. Also, everyone seemed nice.

Uzma the owner gave me the best facial I’ve ever had. It was very relaxing and my skin feels amazing. I would highly recommend. I also had a pedicure with her and it was very thorough and relaxing as well. I’ll be going back.

UPDATE - look at the newest reviews mentioning Anastasia who CUT A CLIENT UNTIL THEY BLED AND DISREGARDED IT. All positive new reviews though for her.. I don’t know what kind of disgusting things go on behind the scenes here but clearly this salon needs to be investigated and shut down.

Before all else, Lavish Nails filters ALL reviews on their own website which is why their nail tech has all 5 star reviews. Her website has all new positive reviews yet no negative ones… google reviews says otherwise.

My thumb has chipped unfortunately the day after. Hoping after getting it fixed it will last. Monicea fixed the chipped nail and I noticed that the ring finger on the left hand was crooked. When I went in, everyone knew about my situation, talking about it in front of me. Both ladies seemed in a large rush to finish fixing them. The left ring finger looks like it has been cut slightly unevenly, however the thumb is good. Uzma cleaned off my nails and she hit my skin with the buffing tool more times than I think it was even on my nail. I’m sad that the experience went so south after my original appointment. I’m happy with my nails for the most part but for the price I paid, I wish the service and outcome was better.

Also to whoever texted to ask about getting long nails for their young daughter on Monday July 10th, Uzma showed me the message and was laughing about it directly in front of me, the unprofessionalism shocked me. If you’re looking for privacy, do not look for it here.

By day 4, two nails are again chipping. I will not be back. Day 5 and around my cuticles is extremely red and swollen. I am in pain as she ripped out skin from under the nails which is clearly peeling. I am in absolute disgust as well after reading reviews saying this business is using illegal products on acrylic nails…. Absolutely disgusting behaviour. Do not choose this spa if you’re looking for any kind of professional or kind treatment. I wish I could give less than one star.

Newest reviews are from new accounts with only 1 review as well which is pretty odd to say the least… this is still occurring as of recently as well. All I have to say is good luck trying to keep a business open when you know you do less than amazing work, and have to block any negative comments just to be able to look good in the public eye.

DO NOT GO HERE. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.
One of the worst experiences I have had at a nail salon. Me and my friend came in as a walk in, around 9am and were told they didn't have availability for us until 12:30 and then backtrecked and said actually "we can take one of you at 11:30 and the other at 12:30". We said that was fine and decided to come back at that time. When arriving they attened to my friend first as she wanted a pedicure. They got her situated in the foot bath and filled it up. After 5 minutes they came over to her and said they 'forgot' they had three aappointments and were behind. My friend said it's okay. What I was there for was just to take off my acrylic nails. Nothing else.
So we ended up sitting there for an hour and a half. And mind you again my friend was sitting in the foot bath for the time being. Where the water got cold, and we had said it outloud a couple times as well. No one asked if we were okay, they completly neglected us.
And on top of that when she told us they had '3 appointments they forgot', we can clearly see their book where they write appointments in and there was nothing there.
If you have ever gotten aryclic nails taken off you know it only takes 20 minutes to do. So they had us there from 11:20-12:55pm without doing any services.

It was super unprofessional. It was 12:55pm by the time we left. And when we stood up to leave they didn't even care.
I will never go back here and I highly suggest you go elsewhere if you want your nails done.
The new nail place on Norfolk St S across from JK's is 100% way better.

Got my nails done at lavish salon today by Monicea she did a phenomenal job and I will be back again for sure! Great quality and customer service. Made it look exactly like the picture I brought in.

All I can say is AMAZING!! In all my years of getting mania and pedis, I have never had anyone spend the time as Anastasia did with me. Talk about perfection. The salon is clean and inviting. The owner (Uzma?) is extremely warm and knowledgeable. Do yourselves a favour, don’t waste your money or time on others
